The place was very well kept and was greeted very nicely but can’t say it got any better. I had a friend check me in online but I didn’t have the phone number they used so the greeter said they would help me in just a second …… never helped me. They quickly called my name and then moved on and I had to step in and say I was there. Hair cut was ok but the price was just crazy for just a cut $30 (plus tip). I don’t remember reading that price on any sign, maybe they knew I didn’t know the ropes, idk. Wouldn’t go back to this sports clips.

Mary gave me the best haircut of my life. She is hands down the best at cutting hair. She also has an awesome personality. Very easy to get along with. I would reccomend her to anyone and everyone.

This place can get busy at lunch and they usually have one or two stylists on at that time. I know it can take a little while to get a cut, so I will go a little later. Today however, I went in a little after lunch and had to wait so long due to a vendor walking in and taking up the stylists time. I waited for them to have their conversation that continued to go on, that I had to leave to go back to work. There is no reason for that. If a vendor comes in while you have multiple customers, take care of it quick or tell the vendor they will have to wait a moment while they take care of the paying customer. When I walked out, they were still talking and there was now a 54 minute wait, customers were coming in and seeing that there was a stylist talking in the back, and only one working. They kept just walking out. 2 people plus myself leaving, your cuts aren’t that cheap, plus tips was quite a loss. I also will not return to this location when this is how a paying customer gets treated, I now understand why this location has such a low rating.

I saw Nicole, she was amazing! I took my 3 year old and she does great with kids. I would say she is the most skilled sports clips barber I’ve ever come across. I would go just to see her. The only reason this place gets a 4 instead of 5 is the manager, Kayce, who was rude and apathetic. If it wasn’t for Nicole being so wonderful I’d probably not come back after today based just on customer service.

The lady just cut my wife bangs hair for full price 21$, my wife just want shorter bangs but she cut more her hair and charged full price for bangs hair cut and don’t do nothing more. My wife want to leave there before her hair done but the lady keep her by the chair and talk so many things without let she know the price for her hair cut! Such terrible attitude. Never come back there and need apologize.

I’ve never been to a Sport Clips, and just moved to Chanhassen from Detroit. I’m used to going to a regular barber shop. The kind where there are 3 old men and a middle aged lady wanting to become a barber. When you walk in they say “I’ll be with you in awhile, there’s 4 in front of you. When I walk in, they aren’t doing cheers and cartwheels because I walked in. But it’s just kind of a given I’m there to get my hair cut, not my ego stroked. I’ve built a relationship with them and they know how to cut my hair after 20 years not 20 minutes. Oh, yeah….and they don’t have an app either. You just go and wait because the world doesn’t revolve around anyone in the barbershop. So, enough sarcasm based on som things I’ve read.

Kayce at the Chan location is simply AWESOME! She keeps a record of my haircut specs, and does it right each time. The optional message and hot towel treatment is definitely worth the extra expense. All the ladies that work there are friendly and professional. This is the place to go if you want the best.
