Critical: ValueHad a $60 giftcard from last December and booked the appointment for this December a few months back when $60 would get you a shampoo, cut, simple style. They called me a couple weeks ago to tell me they’re now charging hourly instead of by service. The cheapest hourly rate was $80! I don’t get done anything complicated and my appointment did not take an hour but was still charged the whole $90. Just very disappointing. When it was Salon Fiber it was nice to get a nice haircut at a moderate, not exuberant, price. Had a $60 giftcard from last December and booked the appointment for this December a few months back when $60 would get you a shampoo, cut, simple style. They called me a couple weeks ago to tell me they’re now charging hourly instead of by service. The cheapest hourly rate was $80! I needed to find a Phoenixville salon with a stylist who specializes in naturally curly hair. After online research, Nichole sounded perfect. Nichole spent time talking to me and gave me a fabulous cut. A few months later, I wanted highlights, but Nichole was booked! I scheduled with Devin and got the best highlights I had ever gotten. I am on a regular schedule with Nichole now and highly recommend Salon Fiber.

I didn’t have a great experience at this place. I had never been here before, I showed up for the appointment and no one said a word to me – it was really odd. I took a seat in the front and waited…. for almost 20 minutes… before anyone said a word to me. I don’t mind waiting but the reason this matters is because this place charges by the hour. So they don’t have a set “fee” for your service, you literally get charged by the hour. So long story short my appointment was at 5pm, we didn’t start until 530 (even tho I was there on time) and they STILL charged me as if we had started at 5pm so it pushed us into the 3rd hour that I had to pay for – had we started on time, or had they charged me from the actual time we started, I would have only paid for 2 hours. It was the difference of almost $100 dollars and totally insane. I was gonna say something but by that time I just wanted to get out of there because, oh yeah, I went in there for an ombre and left with highlights. LITERALLY! It was as if she totally ignored what I said I wanted and she just did whatever she wanted. And the highlights didn’t look right. The whole experience was unreal. I mean not only did they completely overcharge me due to them starting late but they didn’t even give me what I came in for. I’m sorry but if you can’t start on time then you shouldn’t be charging by the hour, its not right. Don’t waste your hard earned money at this place.

This salon is the best! Devin and Nichole are great listeners,and go above and beyond to make my difficult, curly hair look great! Everyone at the salon is knowledgeable, friendly and professional! It’s a great environment to have fun and yet relax while getting your hair done!!!
