I would definitely recommend Gael. I called for an appointment on Friday afternoon and she was able to get me in on Saturday. I walked in at my appointment time and sat right in her chair. I got a cornrow design in the front and singles in the back. Gael finished my style in less than 3 hours. I love my hair and it is not painfully tight. If you are looking for braids, call Gael!

went to speedy braids 4 less to get a Mens braids done,charged me 80 dollars.Thats outrageous just for a mens braids,sadly since it was my first time getting braids i obviously didnt know so i paid my 80 and was happy w the service.But turn out i was getting rip off one of my friend who got the same box raids style as me only pay 25 dollar to get his done out side of laurel.

These lady’s did my hair after being stood up the morning of the Fourth of July leaving me with a major hair emergency and my hair was looking a mess. The box braids looked great and I received several compliments. I have to alter this review now weeks later because when I communicated with the women about scheduling an appointment to remove my braids I was told they don’t usually remove braids. This revelation alone is rather surprising since it is a full service braid shop and I just wanted to start wearing my own hair again for a few weeks when I attend some military functions. Given the new revelation and information I will no longer be back to this establishment. The communication went well until I asked remove the braids I wasn’t looking for an argument and I was happy with the product and was simply trying to just change hairstyles in which I was going to pay the amount and keep it moving. As. Of July 19, 2019 I have to remove half the stars because after two weeks of wearing these braids now they are refusing to just remove them for me so I can now wear my own hair when participating in some military events as stated. Yes They started my hair around noon and we were done by 2:30pm

I always go to Gael for my braids. I have been to her twice and she’s very neat and fast. My braids came out so natural looking. She adjusted her schedule and fit me in which was very nice of her and very professional. She was very protected of my edges which is a big thing for me. I’m very picky when it comes to my hair especially when i get it braided. When Gael does my braids i get so many compliments!!! Thank you Gael 🙂
