Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy son was scheduled for a haircut, beard trim and straight razor shave for senior pictures. The guy (web site says he is the owner) asked “what do we want done?”, cut me off to take a personal call, then seemed annoyed/angry when I showed a picture of the haircut we were hoping for. The atmosphere was quiet and awkward so I went outside to wait. My son came out with his hair buzzed off military style, and he still had stubble after the straight razor shave. He said the guy didn’t say one word to him the whole time. We had to reschedule his senior pictures. My son was scheduled for a haircut, beard trim and straight razor shave for senior pictures. The guy (web site says he is the owner) asked “what do we want done?”, cut me off to take a personal call, then seemed annoyed/angry when I showed a picture of the haircut we were hoping for. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityBest barbershop in town!!!Every time I go to a new place I’m always so worried because I had many bad experiences, however, this is not the case with Sparties barbershop. Everyone there is very professional, respectful and talented. Best barbershop in town!!!Every time I go to a new place I’m always so worried because I had many bad experiences, however, this is not the case with Sparties barbershop. Everyone there is very professional, respectful and talented. I’m born and raised in NY so coming from a busy city where haircuts are art, I’ve finally found someone who can meet my high level of standards when it comes to a true cut. I made an appointment online and when I showed up I was told the person I made the appointment with had already left for the day, despite my appointment being confirmed through text and email for the time I showed up. I would recommend making an appointment elsewhere especially if you need to have a haircut by a certain deadline for something important. This place is unreliable and unprofessional.
