I’ve been going to Sparkle the past few years and they have been great. However, a good number of the nail techs have left and they now have new ones. On one of my recent visits one of the male techs tried to clip and slide off the old dip powder from nails with an artificial nail instead of soaking them, I guess because he didn’t feel like waiting for them to soak. I told him to soak my nails….you’re not gonna damage my nail bed! He knew this he just wanted to hurry through the job. Another time, this same person pushed back my cuticles with his finger nail instead of using the cuticle instrument to do it. Please stop being lazy and cutting corners.

Decided to try a different place to get my toes done, bad idea. It was the most aggressive pedicure I’d ever had. The nail tech was very rough on my legs and feet. Filed my nails so short that I bled on 3 of my toes. He just slapped on the scrub and lotion and pulled my pant leg down with them still wet. I even got splashed in the process. My nail beds on my toes are sore from him ripping my cuticles off in such a vigorous way. I won’t be going back that’s for sure.

We went today for what should have been a great reward for myself and my co workers. We earned a paid mani/pedi from our boss and scheduled appts. One of my coworkers had to wait 40 minutes and my other co worker’s nails were done horribly. The color was wrong after the worker was repeatedly told that wasn’t the color selected. The tech cut her and never even apologized. Lastly she never shaped or cut the nails and didn’t put clear coat on one hand. After management was shown this they argued that the customer was wrong and would not fix it. I have gone here several times and will never ever go back. Poor customer service and ruined a special day that was earned.

I have been going here for the past two years, it has been mainly good until recently. I went in for a pedicure, and was so disappointed. They did a rush job, nail polish was messy and my toenails were different shapes. I am thinking its time for a change.

Great environment! I took my 3 year old daughter for a pedicure, and while they didn’t have any kid chairs they used some pillows and were super accommodating and gave her the full experience!

Jason did my nails. The pedicure was fine. The manicure was the worst I have ever had. I showed them a picture of what I wanted (blue and white tips) and 3 different people working there told me they could do it. Jason tried to do the manicure three times. The first time, I ended up with blue tips and the rest of the nails were discolored purple with blue streaks. Then he tried to paint over the entire nail with blue and do white tips, but the white and blue mixed. The third time, the design is close, but at this point there were several other issues. Several of my natural nails are damaged from too much sanding (you can actually see the damage through the clear polish), my nails are filed down unevenly, there are multiple mistakes in the polish, and there is polish on my skin. At that point, he had already been working on my hands for two hours and they offered a $15 discount, so I gave up. I will not be returning to this salon and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

I called to schedule an appointment yesterday for an acrylic nail fill with gel polish, pedicure, and eyebrow wax with my preferred nail techs, Mary and Heather. I was told Heather does not work there any more so I requested Hannah. My date and time were confirmed and booked. Today, I arrived and was told the technicician I scheduled for my pedicure and eyebrow wax was not there. I stated I made my appointment the day before and the receptionist stated that the technician called out that morning (I was not notified.). I request the technician, Hannah, who I prefer for my nails to do my eyebrows as well and that someone else can do my pedicure. I get signed in and sit in the waiting area. After waiting 30 minutes, my services had not been started. I notified the receptionist to cancel my appointment and she asked when I would like to reschedule. I let her know I would not like to reschedule at this time.

I thought I found my preferred nail salon in this place, but I was wrong! The prices are pretty expensive, my pedicure was great, my nail tech Vee was awesome & sweet but near the end of my appointment, she switched up with another tech that was trying to do 4 people at the same time. She polished my nails & was in such a hurry didn’t let my nails cure long enough, in which I asked her. The next day I noticed bubbling & you could move the polish around, so I went back in. I watched 3 young ladies that were together getting their nails done & two had to be redone because something was wrong. If you want a rush job & jacked up nails….go here.

The person that did my pedicure was excellent. The person that did my daughters pedicure rushed and cut steps. The same person did our manicures rushed half polished our nails and it really wasn’t a real manicure. When paying they ask you do you want to leave a tip although you may have already directly gave your tip to the person(s) that provided the services (3 people/3tips). I think it’s rude to ask a person for a tip and not even ask if the service was excellent or worth tipping for. Checking out the guy was rude and made a comment that I didn’t appreciate to then look ridiculous for making the comment bc they always think some of us can’t pay or is trying not to pay them; when I had already paid the $93 for my daughter soooo why would I not pay the $93 for myself when my service was finished. They need to remember some of us is at least 90% of their clientele. For $93 for a basic pedicure and manicure no acrylic nails, just my own nails and toe nails being polished…..I expect an excellent relaxing experience. I was totally stressed and aggravated after that experience.
