I visited this salon for the first time today because a friend told me about their Disney princess section for little girls. I took my daughter as a part of her birthday celebration– her third birthday is this weekend. This was the first time she had ever had her nails done and was so excited she even wore her Elsa dress. We both got pedicures. The pedicure itself was fine but the customer service we received was probably the worst I have EVER experienced. Neither nail technician that did my nails or my daughter’s even bothered to acknowledge her Elsa dress or her birthday. Neither nail tech spoke the entire time (which I don’t really mind) but when they were finished with our pedicures, both technicians just got up and walked away without saying a word to us. I had no idea if we were supposed to sit there for 10 minutes or if we were supposed to leave or what. My soon-to-be three old of course messed up her toes trying to get out the salon chair of which I had to fix myself. In trying to get all of our belongings out of our chairs she stepped on my toe accidentally and I had to fix MY own toes. No employee bothered to check on us or tell us we were free to leave or stay. It was so bizarre. It was just an all over disappointment. My baby girl was so excited to get her nails done for the first time and this place really rained on her parade. Take your daughter somewhere else where they will make her feel special on her big day.

I am sure this salon does great work, just not in the day I was there unfortunately. I couldn’t get in my regular salon and needed my nails done. I got a shellac manicure which began chipping the next day. 4 nails chipped by day 3. Definitely not the two weeks that I am used to getting for shellac. The nail tech that did my nails was not familiar with painting nails at all. The salon itself was relaxing and quiet so that was a plus! My normal salon always has so many people so it gets loud.

The massage is the best part ( let’s be honest) and my girl took her time and it wasn’t rushed which I really really appreciated! Plus I didn’t make an appointment and had a little bit of a wait but they had massage chair for me to use while I waited so I didnt mind waiting one bit! Loved the experience and will definitely be coming back!

Critical: ProfessionalismI came in to Sparenity to have some gel polish/poly gel extensions removed. The tech sat down and didn’t even say anything to me and began trying to work what looked like a painters knife blade under the edge of the polish like he was trying to pry it off. I thought maybe I was misunderstanding so I let him continue when he switched to the drill and was drilling off the polish on the edges but then he returned to trying to pry them off until I asked if we could soak them off instead.I never leave bad reviews because I generally assume that if I have a bad experience someone just had a bad day.
