I am so delighted they did: Ellie has now given me three fantastic haircuts that always grow out incredibly well. I finally went for some layers today, and she gave me an absolutely dreamy cut. I haven’t been excited about my hair like this in ages. My husband and son both see Yao, also at Spank, and he has given them terrific cuts as well. My longtime hairstylist hung up her shears during covid, and some friends referred me to Spank. I am so delighted they did: Ellie has now given me three fantastic haircuts that always grow out incredibly well. I finally went for some layers today, and she gave me an absolutely dreamy cut. I haven’t been excited about my hair like this in ages. My husband and son both see Yao, also at Spank, and he has given them terrific cuts as well. It’s a great little salon, and we’re so happy to have found it.

Critical: ProfessionalismI have been seeing a wonderful hair stylist at Spank’s for about 10 years. Her name is Veronica, but she is no longer working. I took a chance with another stylist, Ellie, today. I am beyond disappointed. I needed a hair cut, roots and highlights after a year of Covid. I don’t know what she didn’t understand, but I left with almost red hair, no highlights and not a professional haircut. I was planning to spend at least $300. Fortunately Ellie had the decency not to charge me. I left with a foil of bleach on my hair per my request. That was the only part that came close to the highlights I originally requested. I have been seeing a wonderful hair stylist at Spank’s for about 10 years. Her name is Veronica, but she is no longer working. I took a chance with another stylist, Ellie, today. I am beyond disappointed. I needed a hair cut, roots and highlights after a year of Covid.
