Another fabulous experience at Spa Shiki. I was lucky enough to come several summers in a row. I was so pleased to return after several years to share the spa with my husband. I had an absolutely fabulous Swedish massage with Ron and my husband had a wonderful Golfers massage with Misty. We enjoyed the saunas and the amenities. Thank you to everyone at Spa Shiki.

First let me start by saying the actual massage was great. The facility was horrible. My wife and I drove 2.5 hrs for a couples massage with the listed amenities. Both the salt water whirlpool and the hot tub were broken. My wife went out to use the pool and found a dirty diaper. The female locker room was very dirty with towles and trash scattered around. Staff were loud and not relaxing. I could list a few more items but I won’t get petty. When I called the next day to talk with the staff about what happened and what we thought. Her response was “O I’m sorry but the massage was ok right well that’s all that matters”. My wife and I strongly disagree the amenities are just as important for us we were both very disappointed.

Maybe I shouldn’t be reviewing this place, because I have never used it myself. I frequently get gift certificates from here to give to my wife, daughter, or some of my co-workers as gifts. I hear nothing but good about the place. It does look (and smell) very calming to me when I go in to get my gift certificates. Maybe it is slightly pricey, but almost certainly worth it. I have never heard of anyone having a bad experience.

The facility is clean and everyone is professional. Male and female area for the suna are separate and pretty small which is why I didn’t give it a 5 star. It didn’t feel like an all day get away spa location inside the facility. Would not go again.

Fabulous facial with Nancy. Relaxed in the relaxation area and then sat in the Jacuzzi. The staff and facilities were wonderful. It is nice to have one of the best spas in the country right in our backyard!

Wife & I got our bi annual treat of Swedish Massage & Pedicure at Spa Shiki. Facilities are getting a little dated & some features under repair but still a wonderful place to relax. Heat rooms, hot tub, meditation rooms, indoor/outdoor pools are part of the packages as well as first class robes & linens & cooling/warming beverages. Highly recommended.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI received the “sports massage” from Jane on Saturday, December 18th, 11am. This was the worst massage I’ve ever received from a “licensed professional”! Talked to me throuhg the whole treatment, No flow in any part of the sequence, no follow of origin to insertion of muscles and bounced. No “sports” except after the first 3 times she scratched me with her fingernails and hit me in the head with her elbow, she did move my shoulder in circles completely pinching & stabbing me with her nails so bad, I couldn’t move. I received the “sports massage” from Jane on Saturday, December 18th, 11am. This was the worst massage I’ve ever received from a “licensed professional”! Always amazing massage experience. We were a little disappointed to find the indoor hot tub and saunas were closed despite them assuring us they would be open for use before our massage. Highly recommend attending the Saturday 9 am yoga session too!
