Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had at a spa. There were 7 girls in our group. We were 10 minutes late to our appointment because we got lost and cut our appointments short by 15 minutes. They stated it was because they were booked with appointments but then started taking us early for our second appointments. The services themselves were also terrible. Each of us complained about the services we received (massages were rough, one massager had a broken fingernail that kept cutting the skin, pedicures were awful – didn’t even pain the whole nail. They also don’t offer gel polish and charge $100 for a pedicure!!) Complete rip off. Definitely suggest getting these services done elsewhere or even before your vacation/wedding etc at a place you trust. The staff was also very rude. Far from a relaxing day!

Wife went a few afternoons ago and wasn’t pleased with the overall demeanor and thought the ladies were rude. The lady with shoulder length was really rude and snappy. She said they were talking about how a vent was dirty and how maintenance needed to come clean it and thought that summed up the overall characters of them. They can’t take the 2 seconds to wipe down their own stuff so the excuse is on waiting for someone else when you work I there everyday but needs to wait until someone else comes to take care of their immediate surroundings. Laziness shows in every way. She felt very rushed to get through her service making it stressful not relaxing. She wasn’t there on a discount or anything either even though that shouldn’t be a reason to be treated poorly. I was sorry I told her to go with how much everything bother such an easy going person who I never her complain.

Our massages were delightfully enjoyable. Igor and Patricia did a fantastic job, making it both relaxing and relieving. The facility was both welcoming and clean. The staff was courteous, would highly recommend.

Shawnee Inn is our go to. The spa is wonderful. It’s clean, the people are friendly and the treatments are organic. We always get the same room. The one with the fireplace. It’s cozy and quiet, which matters because I go there to write and create, so there are not many distractions. The food is good. I don’t eat meat and so there are limited options for me, what I have had has been nourishing and tasty. My husband has always been happy with his food choices. Overall I give Shawnee a 4.5 – 5 star rating. I have had one or two encounters with impatient front end people but nothing that wasn’t easily overcome by a breath and a moment of reflection on their busy day.

The Inn on the outside is a bit dated, but don’t let that deter you. The couples massage was amazing! The inside displayed historical pictures of many celebrities that visited the Inn in years past. A great end to a very relaxing experience was to sit down in the restaurant, have a delicious and inexpensive meal. I would definitely visit the Inn again.

The worst spa experience i have ever had.Booked a full body massage mani pedi Facial and beer tour. They made us wait a whole hour after the meni and pedi were done for a massage Which sucked btw missed the tour after our massage and the service was absolutely the worst the robes they provided smelled like mold. And the slippers were used and gross facility was dirty and outdated And cold staff seemed not to care much about anything but finishing the job instead of making sure you receive good services and have a great experience.never will go back there. Or recommend this place to anyone even if it was for free. I wouldnt even give this place 1 star.
