Today was my first visit at Spa on the Boulevard and I had such an incredible experience! I have not gotten my hair cut or colored for two years (I know, I know). So to say I was a bit hesitant and nervous was an understatement. From the second I walked into the salon I felt so comfortable. The girls at the front desk were so polite and checked me in then had me sit in a nice waiting area where I was offered coffee, tea or water. Leslie was my stylist and she took the time to get to know me and what style/color I was looking for before we started. She was so kind an knowledgeable throughout the entire cut and color. The shampoo girl who’s name I didn’t get was also amazing! Best head message ever, I could have just sat there for hours!! I left feeling so beautiful and happy with my hair and service. I will be back to see Leslie again! I also want to schedule a message there now that I know I love the place!

Unfortunately I must update my review and lower the rating. I had not mentioned before how difficult it was for me to obtain an appointment here. I was recommended Tammy by a family member, who knew I may at one point contact her for an appointment. I called the main line and asked to book said appointment, and was told she “doesn’t do men’s hair”. Taken aback, I instead got Tammy’s number from that family member, and texted her directly for an appointment, which she gladly booked. Let me be clear, Tammy was fantastic and did my hair just the way I like. I had planned to come back at some point for the same thing. Just a few weeks ago, I landed an interview for, basically, my dream job. I needed my hair done rather quickly, and called the main line again to ask if Tammy had any open appointments. She did not, but when I asked if there was any other open stylists, I was told once again “There are, but they don’t do men’s hair.” Seems I’ve caught the lie. Disregard I’m not even masc presenting, either in looks or identity; my hair is long, thick and curly.

I had the absolute best experience this morning! It was my first time, and I didn’t want to leave. I felt so pampered and treated like royalty. The facilities themselves are the best I’ve ever seen. Open spaces, comfortable seating, wonderful amenities. I was helped by Autumn at the front desk both when I arrived, between services, and at the end when I checked out. She was very helpful! Brittany did a fabulous job with my express pedicure – very friendly and professional, and good at what she does. Samantha did my 45-minute massage that was to die for! Excellent job focusing on a specific knot in my shoulder without making me uncomfortable or in pain. I haven’t been as relaxed as I felt at the end of that massage in ages. And then complementary sauna and steam rooms? Absolutely lavish. I wish I could afford to come every week. Gorgeous place, restful ambiance, delightful staff. Will be recommending to everyone!

I don’t want to give any stars but google made me. This company is horrible and so are the stylists. They do not stand behind their work nor do they have any standards or professionalism. I had to get a full color correction and dye my hair completely black after seeing Lindsay. I asked for face frame balayage (cool brown) and this is what I ended up with. The photo provided is before my color correction that had to be completed. They wouldn’t give me my money back for this hack job and were very unprofessional at handling my complaint. BTW they have a 10 day policy for complaints and will only handle the fix internally even if you don’t trust them anymore. I could have done my own hair and ended up having better results.

The location is great, and the massage (hot stone)that I received was spectacular! The staff was cool. My only gripes are the outdated lockers, very small changing room, and not enough room to move around with other clients. It wasn’t as clean as I had hoped, as I witnessed dirt, spider webs inside the lockers where your clothes are held, and the floor in the changing room area, had hair all over the place. The bench inside the changing room was old and outdated as well. Other than that, I did enjoy myself, and would still recommend.

I normally would get a deep tissue massage but went for a prenatal massage this time (I would never expect them to do a deep tissue on a pregnant woman). The woman that did my massage had the lightest touch I had ever felt. I felt as though I was being comforted after a bad day. I work on my feet for 12 hrs a day, I box, weight lift, and I’m a runner. I was just expecting more out of the massage. I left with my back still feeling knotted up and barely relaxed. The staff are all great but I feel like I wasted $100. I will return but only for deep tissue massages and some other services.
