I went into our appointment with apprehension due to the low reviews. Our friend recommended this place and made an appointment for 5 of us. It was a very quick run through of us (approximately 20 minutes each), with 2 technicians working on us. I was over priced by about $10, Im pretty sure it was hand soap that was added into the foot bath. The lady who worked with us 1st, was very nice, almost like she was placating us, worried about a bad review. Overall, the result turned out well. The salon was also very clean, the tools might have been cleaned between patrons? I probably wouldn’t go back, as I like a more spa like experience l, but in a pinch, it was great. I knocked a point of due to the high price point, and no additional experiences offered (rock massage, longer massage, paraffin wax, etc).

I have a few serious concerns here. I did not read reviews before going because it was highly recommended by a friend so I figured it is fine. It is really dirty in here. Like no bags in the pedicure baths and reused utensils. I did not receive a new towel on the table or even a new paper towel. The technician was clearly using a file that was NOT new as it has other peoples nail colors on it. I also got my brows and chin waxed here. Do NOT get waxed here. The wax lady basically told me I was too heavy (fat) to sit on the waxing table and asked me to sit in the chair. The wax is wayyyy too hot. She did not ask what shape I wanted my brows at all. Did not clip them with scissors & ended up mostly plucking them. Also did not show me in the mirror so I had no idea what I looked like til I left. I looked bad lol. Also the waxing table just had a dirty sheet on it with literal stains. Really unsanitary all around and may report to health dept tbh.

Overall it was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I went in with dip powder on my natural nails and I asked her to please soak and file them to get the dip off. Instead she told me no and used cuticle clippers to cut and chip off my dip powder nail by nail. I asked her to stop because I knew the tips of my natural nails would rip during this, but she continued and ripped multiple of my long natural nails all the way down to the top of my finger. Additionally, when she couldn’t get the dip to chip off with the cuticle cutters, she took nail clippers and clipped a ton of length off of my nails with the dip still attached.

My appointment was at 1 and she didn’t start my nails until 1:45. I asked for white dip and at the end when she was about to put the top coat on I could still see my nail, so I asked her to do another dip and instead of doing it she used white gel nail polish to go over it and now they look chunky. For my pedicure she took 2 minutes to massage my legs (which I paid $40 dollars for) and then only did one coat of the nail polish. Horrible experience, everything felt so rushed. Would not recommend.

Worst nail salon I have ever been to. They have horrible customer service not only did my nails get fungus underneath but so did my moms never had this problem until We came to this salon. They without telling me charged me $20 for the removal that I didn’t ask for I could have done my self I told them I would not be paying the $20 but they gave me no choice I would not go to this place if you care about your health or your money. They are liars and scammers. Beware.

I was incredibly astounded by the way when I nicely asked Tony for a specific shape. He was incredibly rude and I will never go back to this place. I almost walked out with my nails not finished at how awful he was to me. He literally started yelling at me in the salon. Very embarrassing, unprofessional and not to say completely disrespectful. Sad to have to write a poor review but in the service industry which I work in customer service myself when someone is nice you can be polite back. I was told I was too picky, not to check my phone and that he couldn’t do what I had asked after the fact he said he could do it at my initial talk when I wanted my nails done. He stated I do for you very fast but instead turned into a raging man. It is ok of course to say I can do for you but don’t start doing my nails then in the middle start yelling at me telling me I’m too picky and tell me he can’t do what was shown to him. It was not even that complicated. Was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon. Tony should not be able to do nails based on his horribleness to people. After reading the multiple reviews at Spa Nails in conclusion amongst the majority they should not be in a service industry dealing with people and how awful their service is to the multitude of Spokane. Do not waste your time or money for a horrible nail experience. I would give zero stars if I could. Business doors should be shut based on racism, rudeness, lack of respect for people who pay for a service and zero quality of employees. Unfortunate experiences by the vast majority is not ok!
