My husband bought me a spa package with a few treatments. This day I got the Spa pedicure. They were warm, inviting and punctual. Offered me wine and did an amazing job on my pedicure. It was a relaxing 45 minutes.

I decided to come to this place because of their reviews thinking this would be a great place. I was highly mistaken. The Stylist was very friendly that is why I am giving them a two star rate but when it came to my hair cut I was not only unsatisfied but I was horrified after realizing that the layers where not cut evenly and the bangs they gave me were uneven. I figured maybe if I pulled my hair up it wouldn’t be so bad but even then you could see the long strands of hair. I deliberated returning to get it fixed but frankly I don’t even want them to touch my hair. It may have just been my luck but my experience was not to my standards.

This review is specifically for the McAllen location. I have been to places in Los Angeles and Dallas for a professional massage (Massage Envy and Hand & Stone) and Leslie here at Spa La Posada is by far the best masseuse I’ve ever had. She will find knots in places you didn’t even know you had them, she has also told me once where she feels tension and provided me with some at-home remedies to help ease it. There have been times I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep – lol! The front desk staff are always so kind and helpful. If you get there early (or want to check out after your spa services), their boutique, Leona, is always a treat to browse around and has incredible in-season styles. Spa La Posada never disappoints!

Daniela did a great job with the highlights she put in my hair! I’ve gotten so many compliments!! She is very pleasant and thoughtful, which made me feel pampered and relaxed. I usually arrive on time if not 10 minutes before and wait in my car.When I get there on time I have waited 10 to 15 minutes for them to attend me because they are busy or runningbehindschedule.The first time in one year that I get there 8 minutes late they tell me they can not do my full service but they will still charge me as a full service. I understand as a business owner, but they do need to be fair if they are running late then give the client a discount and if the client is running late then charge.Fairness and customer service is very important. Alyssa was amazing! My 11 year old daughter’s hair started to curl when she was 9 all of a sudden and I just couldn’t find the right cut or products. After trying different stylists and a cabinet full of only tried once products, i was so frustrated. But when I saw a recommendation for her I made an appointment for my daughter. Alyssa took the time to cut her hair just the way she had always wanted it. And then showed her how to wash her hair, how to scrunch it ave put the right products in it. My daughter felt really special. We will definitely be back.
