I like this spa. The services are great. It is always clean and neat. The staff is also very friendly. I have been here to see Dr. Alonso the cosmetic surgeon. He does Botox and all cosmetic surgery. He’s a great doctor.

I’ve had several services here. Every service is amazing. The place is very clean and sanitary. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I do believe that the price is a bit expensive. They do a great job on nails and hair. Highly recommend.

Customer service has gone downhill. I called to purchase a gift card for a friend and spoke with Kristen. She was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor. I promptly called the hunt Valley location. Very courteous! Take your dollars elsewhere. This location will never see my dollars.

I used to enjoy going to Spa in the Valley but recently I feel I’m caught up in a Seinfeld episode. They can “take” a reservation but don’t seem able to “hold” the reservation for an appointment. 10 days ago I had an appt only to find when I arrived, they didn’t have the appt booked. I made another reservation for today, but received a call this morning telling me the massage therapist wouldn’t be in. It appears the operation has become poorly organized. Paige Davey

There were some really great aspects of my visit and some pretty terrible ones, so averaged together, I rate the spa 2 stars. First, the overall reception experience, from making the appointment over the phone to checking in then checking out, was lackluster. Now here’s the good, the bad, and the ugly. Good: I was able to book a massage for the next day. Bad: I couldn’t book the raindrop therapy. The raindrop therapy seems to be a treatment specific to this spa, not one that requires special licensing, so does this mean that not all the therapists are trained in it? Why not? Good: The facility is spacious, clean, and well-stocked with retail product. I thought the sheets and blanket on the massage table were luxurious. Bad: my massage was mediocre: The technique seemed lazy. The hot towels weren’t hot. I didn’t smell any essential oils. Good: Swiss shower! What a cool experience! Bad: The drain design does not keep up with the water, so by the end of my shower, the dressing area was flooded. Bathing products were there in the shower (nice), but one was empty, and one lacked a pump. Good: Steam room, sauna, and a lounge…terrific! Bad: I was not told about these amenities when I called to schedule, and the website only says to come 15 minutes early just to change and fill out some paperwork. When I asked about using them after my massage, I was told that wasn’t allowed; clients are permitted to enjoy them only before their services, not after. Good: classy robe. Bad: ratty, stringy, stained, faded towel…maybe a hairdressing towel?…the last one in the basket…to use for my shower (which I guess I wasn’t supposed to take after my massage). Also, the used robe/towel hamper in the locker room was overflowing…yuck. All in all, the facility itself has a lot to offer, but the training, the customer service, and the attention to detail are lacking.

Visited this spa as a girl’s weekend for my friend’s birthday. It was so relaxing! I definitely recommend. Their Tuscan (waiting room) has a zen ambience and spa or steam room if you’d rather indulge while waiting. I got a full body stress-fix massage from Lucy. She’s was very pleasant and professional. Barbara did my dermalogica mini facial. My face felt and looked amazing!! I’ll definitely be back for that.

I recently visited Spa In The Valley for a massage and a facial and I was EXTREMELY impressed! The spa amenities are awesome with a sauna, steam room, and a swiss shower. But I was even more blown away by the staff I encountered. Lana gave me the best massage I have had in years and Barbara was very knowledgeable in skincare and made my skin look amazing as well as gave me tips for things I could need to improve in my skincare routine (all without pushing products mind you, just suggestions on how to use products I am already using!). A truly phenomenal experience, I will definitely be back.

My experience there was a last minute impulse. I had a change in plans that day, was a distance from home, and needed a shampoo and blowout but my usual place was too busy. I was welcomed very nicely upon arrival and soon was taken back for service. Anne is wonderful and very personable and very skilled. I have challenging hair and she sent me out the door looking my best.

Went here for a spa day for my daughter’s birthday. I, myself had the 90 minute – Lavender & Calendula Herbal Massage. This was supposed to be an herbal soothing massage – NOPE! She beat the heck out of me (June was the massage person’s name – can’t call this massage therapy). I told her it was uncomfortable and she just kept going and replied you are ‘tight’. I have bruises across the back of my shoulder blades now. I can’t even carry my purse on my shoulder. It was supposed to include a complete herbal oil scalp treatment to complement your full body massage to take you to a deeper level of relaxation – nope … no herbal oils; no smell of lavender. And no relaxation! Didn’t want to ruin what was a good day for my daughters so I waited until the next day to voice my concerns (Sun). Today I got a phone call back (Wed). They offered me 15% off my next massage. Heck no! I can go in the boxing ring to get this treatment. Excuses included well that’s June she does a deep tissue massage. “The person who made your appointment should have let you know”. I didn’t request a deep tissue … that’s not what I paid for … June knew what kind of massage I paid for 🙁 Passing blame and making excuses for hurting someone is just not good practice.
