Hubby surprised with me a visit here for my birthday this month and I was blown away! The spa was absolutely gorgeous inside and I was even more taken aback by the room! My husband had them to decorate the room and it was filled with rose petals with candles in the shape of a heart and our initials. I went today for my very first Massage! I got a full body massage by Carmen and it was amazing! I came in not knowing anything about getting a massage and left feeling so loose and amazing. Carmen was so nice! She was very patient and considerate, asking me how it felt as she went, ensuring I was always comfortable. I highly recommend Hands of Gold, particularly Carmen, for anyone who wants a massage but has never had one. Honestly one of the best experiences of my life.

This is my 3rd visit , this place is very amazing and clean, I highly recommend the The deep tissue and stretching massage and body skin care was out of this world. Definitely one of the best massages I’ve had. Came in with pain in my back and shoulders and left very much refreshed and relaxed. Worth every penny! Renea is incredible, she is very friendly and listening, price are very reasonable! I always make sure tips good enough for her because they work hard ! Anyone need deep tissue definitely asked for her deep combination of that along with some stretching to help my quads loosen up a little, it was just what I needed! The spa is very clean and they are very professional. I’ve been twice now. First time was a couples massage with the wife and it was a good experience, not great, but good. I just went back by myself a year later and they have improved tremendously. Tables were much more comfortable and I had an actual conversation with my masseuse about pressure and area of focus and this experience was so much better. I plan to go back in a couple of weeks.

I have only been here (LaPlata location) at least 3 times since I have moved to Maryland. I unfortunately did not get to visit the Hollywood location due to traffic, but the therapists were willing to wait for me. However, traffic kept me from going. The fact they were able to communicate with me instantly was a relief. Now the massage itself, I have no words for. I have major discomfort and tightness in my upper back to neck area. I didn’t have to say anything, and the therapist knew where to focus and how hard to press. I left feeling brand new. The rooms were very private and serene. Super clean and professional. I have been to so many in Maryland (Annapolis to Southern MD) and Spa Hands of Gold tops them all. Reasonably priced, super professional, communicative, and they focus on what you need. Love this place.

I just had a male massage therapist do my prenatal massage and wow! He did so good and listened to my needs and was so professional. I can tell he took his time and was thorough and was equal to both sides of my body. I would definitely come back and see him. They do prefer cash so I had to go back home and get some to avoid the 3.5 % charge.
