I came to this spa because a friend had given me a gift certificate. I was wanting a deep tissue hour massage. If what I got was deep tissue then the Swedish must be waving her hands over body parts. The therapist used a cooking timer that went off after ever body part was done being rubbed. Never in all of my massage experiences have I NOT turned over! I was on my stomach the entire hour. My quads and chest muscles were never touched. However the therapist spent 5 mins scrubbing my scalp as if I was getting my hair washed with oil. No pressure point on the scalp done either. For the hour, I had the back of the calves, hamstrings and shoulders lightly rubbed with her palms. No connective tissue was touched. The spa looks and smells great and has very relaxing music in the background. I will add I have extensive massage experience and this was by far not worth $80!!!
