I just started going to Spa At the Lake a few month ago, hair cut, massage, and recently a facial. Every service has been done with professionalism & accuracy. They take great measures to keep a safe and clean environment. The reception desk is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They have quickly become my go-to place for every service. I plan to bring my out-of-town friend here for a day spa!!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueMy mom went to this place for 7 years and loved it. When I wanted to dye my hair for the first time in grad school, I thought this would be a good place since they advertised balayage. I WAS WRONG. I brought in a picture (attached) and the stylist was like: of course, the color isn’t going to match since you’re base is a little darker, but we can see what we can do. I was lured into a false sense of security. My hint something was wrong should have been the foils they used; I read that balayage was a hand painted technique and this was far from it. I walked out with tiger striped hair (me in the car after appt) that made me look twice as old and a $350 bill. Luckily, this was an easy fix at another salon to get my hair WAY more in line with the look I asked for. I never did this review because I hate to be mean but.. I had an awful experience here. The girl who helped me was dismissive and negligent- hardly if at all glanced at my reference and literally waved her hand at it. Told me it wouldn’t look good and then.. absolutely did not do what I asked.. acted like I was a nuisance and talked about me to the next guest when I was leaving even though she was definitely in earshot and hardly five feet from me. I was charged 200 for that. Worst haircut I’ve had, worst experience. She was nice for a moment when I tried making small talk during the wash but… awful. Way too expensive for an extremely substandard experience and rude behavior… Do not go here…

If you’re looking for an amazing massage, Susan has been my go to massage therapist for years! Phenomenal calming energy, solid education on the body structures, and educational in regards to aiding the client on how to stretch and aid painful areas at home! 10/10 would follow Susan wherever she goes! This salon is great, they sell Kerastase products, which I also have used for over a decade. Quality products and services, with a special touch and amazing views!

My kids bought me a gift cert for the Spa for my birthday. Of all the services, I thought the couples pedicure would be the most fun. I didn’t know what to expect. Sharon and I were treated to a few moments with complimentary wine and snacks. The staff treated us in a very friendly way and the whole experience was relaxing. My feet felt awesome. Thank you!

Ok if I could give this spa a million stars, I would. They were amazing! I’m the type of person that if the front desk staff is rude, I’ll be done with the business. But Spa at the Lake was so helpful. I was arranging appointments from Arizona and they were so accommodating. Now fast forward to our appointments, they were friendly with greeting us. They offered us beverages. My mom, 2 sisters and I got facials or massages and absolutely all 4 of us were blown away by our services. I got a facial with ANA (spelling might be wrong) and she went above and beyond. I cant rave enough by how great she was. She greeted me with a hug and cheek kiss. She informed me of everything she was doing with my facial. She informed me about the benefits of the products she was using. After we were finished she said goodbye and hugged me again. I felt so good when were done. I left so happy and just felt so welcomed by her. It was so great. I want to wrap this whole place and take it back to Arizona. Thank you all for making our mothers day surprise and our services. You guys went above and beyond!!!

I was so excited to get a gift card here for the holidays and couldn’t have been more delighted to get a hot stone massage. I had a great experience but the next day I had a skin reaction … I called the spa and got a call from the owner Melissa shortly after . She wasn’t too busy to hear my concerns or avoid my phone call .. instead she asked me to come in so they could help. She and her staff are the epitome of great customer service and gained a customer for life !! I would high;y recommend this spa and will continue to go back 🙂
