Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI believe in shopping local so I called and made an appointment. Arrived for appointment to wait 45 minutes. Nail asked soak or pop off.Nail Tech tried to pop off the first one but I flinched and said ouch has she took layer from my real nail. She then wrapped my nails to soak them off. At 4:25 I am still wearing the foil. I asked how much longer, response was 20 minutes. I informed them I couldn’t stay. I had to be another place at 5. I removed the foil and what I could get off my nails. Then the nail tech comes over and files the rest away then cuts the split nail I caused from trying to get stuff off my nail. She then says your done go wash. Then she says $10. I responded I’ve been here for over a hour and your making me pay. She rudely responded yes. I paid and asked for the manager. He did not seem apologetic or even asked to see my nails. I WILL NOT GO BACK! I have used this place before and it depends on who you get for the service you receive. I believe in shopping local so I called and made an appointment. Arrived for appointment to wait 45 minutes. We called and set an appointment for two pedicures with ease, and when we arrived they even accommodated the fact that we asked to add on manicures as well- which a lot of salons won’t or are very rude about it. They weren’t very busy which was great since there was little to no wait, but I can bet with how awesome they are that sometimes you may have to be patient with them. Our techs were gentle with our feet, understanding, offered us drinks and held conversations with us- it was so relaxing. Today was my first time coming to Spa Aspara, and let me tell you- it’s one of my favorite nail salons ever. We called and set an appointment for two pedicures with ease, and when we arrived they even accommodated the fact that we asked to add on manicures as well- which a lot of salons won’t or are very rude about it. They weren’t very busy which was great since there was little to no wait, but I can bet with how awesome they are that sometimes you may have to be patient with them. In consideration of their time and being a small business owner, I always call in advance for an appointment. It is always a treat to spend my money and time with Apsara Nail.
