I went to SoZo salon for the first time today, have driven by it a hundred times and decided to give it a shot. My stylist was Damaris, and she was not only very nice but also did a fantastic job! I told her some of my ideas and let her make some decisions as to what she thought would work best, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Aside from my individual stylist being amazing, the receptionist was very nice and made me a cup of coffee and the manager walked me out to my car with an umbrella because it was raining. Above and beyond customer service on absolutely every front, thank you!

This was my first visit at SoZo salon. I read through reviews and they were great! Well, I did not have the experience everyone praised about. I received the WORST hair cut of my life. I am pretty sure I could have done a better job myself. The color was great, but that is it. I am missing a fair amount of hair underneath. I had asked to have my hair thinned, which I know from previous experience there are shorter pieces. This is a chunk. I did call the salon and sent a picture. The owner was very apologetic and was willing to help. She also did refund some of my money, not all. After several weeks now of this hair cut it becomes more awful. When I was there I asked for very little layers. I did not get this. It is the most choppy hair cut I have ever received. The layers are extremely noticeably different and so uneven. I think if the hair dresser would have paid a little less attention to his apple watch and more to my hair this would not have happened. I am giving two stars because of how nice the owner was. But I would not recommend seeing Chris at SoZo. He needs to pay attention more to what he is doing when cutting someones hair and less time on his apple watch. He also needs to learn customer service skills in this type of business, as he told me way too much about his personal life. I also did not appreciate him telling me when I was there that my hair was awful, meaning the cut was bad and the color looked like a stripped trumpet color. For the fact of what he did to my hair.
