You are greeted with mimosas and dark chocolate. A jazz trio featuring Diana Krall plays softly by the front desk. Ryan Seacrest introduces your massage therapist, Kim, who floats out in a beam of blue light and shows you down a long majestic hall to the orange and ginger-infused massage room, draped in green linen (the room, not her) with tiny LED lights that dim as you breathe in and out. An hour later, you are resting on a Eames chaise lounge as Canadian acrobats from Cirque de Soleil perform overhead. None of this is true, but the massage therapy is wonderful!

Working with Kim has changed my life! After nearly 10 years of chronic muscle pain, and seeing every specialist under the sun, I feel so grateful to Kim for finally fixing me! Rather than looking at one symptom under a microscope, she looked at me as a whole person who was struggling. She quickly found some seemingly small issues that compounded over years to create intense pain. After just a few sessions, I was feeling great and was willing to take on an activity level that I haven’t tried tried in a few years.

The test for a really good massage is whether you feel better or worse afterwards. I used to go to Massage Envy, but those guys seemed more intent on impressing me with how strong they were and much pressure they could exert. I always felt worse after those sessions. On the other hand, Kim is first and foremost a physical therapist with a genuine knowledge of anatomy. She knows exactly how much pressure to apply and where, so I always come out feeling much better. Over the last year and a half our sessions had to become more therapeutic in nature because I seriously injured my hip. I had very severe pain in my hip and nerve related pain up and down my leg. Without Kim’s healing hands I am not sure what shape I would be in because I didn’t get any benefit from the spinal injections and PT Duke offered me. At the start of a recent session I was thrilled to tell Kim that thanks to her I had absolutely no pain in my hip or leg!

I cannot say enough good things about Sozo Body Therapy, LLC. When I first met Kim, I was physically broken. It hurt to sit, stand, and lie down. I had given up all of the physical activities I loved and was not able to help my wife and play with my kids like I wanted to. My inner oblique muscle was described as feeling like “bone” it was so damaged and tight. I spent years in pain before I met Kim and tried massage and physical therapy. Kim took on the challenge and committed herself to finding a way to return me to health … and she did. I am FULLY recovered and regularly engage in sports such as distance running and sprint triathlons without pain. If you are living with pain stop NOW and call Sozo Body Therapy. You won’t regret it.

Kim has helped me in such a short time. I have had pain since a running injury 6 years ago. I have gone to orthopedists, physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and massage therapists with relatively little relief. I have been having ZERO pain days since I met Kim!
