Love the environment. Room I tanned in was beautiful. Great selection of tanning lotions for the bed and after! The blonde behind the counter was super helpful and sweet, wish I’d gotten her name but she was working around 3 pm on 2/5/21 🙂

Southern sun is by far the best tanning salon! The staff is amazing. They always make you feel welcomed and even apart of the family. The owner is extremely knowledgeable in every product she carries and makes sure you get the best product for your skin. She shows she truly cares and her business is her passion. Staff were very helpful. I purchased some tanning lotion for my wife as a surprise for our anniversary. I knew nothing about the stuff. I had a picture of an old bottle my wife had and I told the staff of a few words I’ve heard my wife say (like bronzer, accelerator, and extender) and they were able to suggest a few different types to choose from. My wife loved the lotion.

They are expensive. They charge you for the UV glasses. The beds look old. You have to take your towel to the front to put it in the linen basket instead of keeping a linen basket in each room. They don’t keep tanning stickers in the beds. The beds are in the front so everyone coming in stands outside of your tanning bed. The only good thing is the younger girls are nice. The older lady is rude. I’m not going back.
