Went to get my hair cut and colored last week. I’ve really taken time before posting this but I’m still furious! I made an appointment talked to hair stylists about exactly what U wanted, sent her pictures of my hair everything before getting there. Day of I sat down in her chair to be told well I can’t do that! What? I tool off my job to get my hair done. Well I can see you’re upset if you want you can leave? Excuse me! Oh I know all about hair and I ain’t doing it. Girl my daughter can witness I kept my tongue but not my facial expressions I was hot. So I’m paying you and you won’t do it, exactly why not tell me this before I came. Still believe it or not I stayed let her cut and do WHAT SHE WANTED not what I wanted. She NEVER asked me how I wanted to cut or colored just done it. Disappeared the whole 40 minutes of set time and said not another word to me. I paid 90.00 for something I was not the least bit happy about. She constantly was checking her phone or talking on it just the worst hair experience I’ve ever had and really the worst customer service ever! Won’t be back!

Mikah is my hair professional and she takes her work very seriously yet has a great sense of humor. She has a fairly busy schedule but I can usually get in within a couple days of calling. She takes the time to ask what my wishes are, what I feel are my problem areas are and works with my hair to correct my issues and create the look I want. The salon is always neat and clean looking. I recommend this salon every time someone asks me “where’s a good salon?”

Ann Slappey is the best hair stylist I have ever had. She is a very sweet and kind person as well as talented. She is awesome. A visit with her is a major highlight in my day. The salon is always clean and bright. A pleasant place to visit.

Ashley did an AMAZING job on my hair. I had different box dyes and a bad balayage job done by someone else, plus im on medication that interferes with the way my hair takes color and she was so very patient and sweet. She was determined to get my hair just right and I left with a big smile! 100% reccomend her. She is very sweet and talented. I probably had over 100 foils in my hair lol it’s so blended and pretty! The cut is beautiful too.I will be back

This place only gets a 5 because of Ashley Henderson. She is awesome! She will do amazing things for anyone’s hair and she is so sweet! If you are new to the area or looking for someone new to work magic with your hair, you definitely have to go see her!

I made an appointment at Southern Sheers for a Saturday at 11am. I showed up a little before 11am and finally left between 11:10-11:15am after realizing no one was planning to come open the shop. I called and left a voicemail before actually leaving and hoped they would get back with me soon. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday pass with no acknowledgement that I had an appointment scheduled from Southern Sheers. Naturally, I went elsewhere and decided to spend my money with a hairdresser who wanted to take the time to work with my schedule. Finally, on Thursday I receive a text from the hairdresser who stated she got their around 11:15a on Saturday and must have missed me. Did I want to reschedule? While I was glad to receive the text and acknowledgement (finally), I cannot get over the fact that I had an appointment and no one called to say “Hey, I know it’s a little after 11, are you still nearby and want to get your haircut today?” Or at least on Tuesday a call to appolgize. I do not believe this draws a picture of the whole shop, however I do think it this sheds a little light on some of their hairdressers scheduling and effort to truely help clients.

Love this place! Prices are really great compared to other salons,especially for color. I’ve paid a lot more at other places and left unhappy. I haven’t had a bad cut or color yet there. Friendly and laid back atmosphere

Good haircuts, easy to get in and out of. Though the place can be noisy. Music is too loud with the bare floors and how the sound bounces around, so much so, that it’s hard to hear the barber.
