I have really long thick hair and she knows exactly what to do with it. For almost 2 years now, when I sit in her chair, I just say “do whatever you did last time”. I get so scared to get my haircut because it seems every time I go the hairstylist always takes it into their own hands to cut more than what I asked for but that was absolutely not the case with Melissa! I think she could tell before she cut it that it was something I was nervous about! A year ago I asked for 4 inches cut off and got 14 so she knew that story from my previous experience and made me feel so validated with my feelings about being nervous and assured me that the dead ends (just a trim) was all that was needed to be cut off since it had been around a year since my last haircut and she did not disappoint!
