This is the only place I would let touch my hair! Soda at Southern Roots Salon,is amazing! She knows what she’s doing and listens to her customers wishes always. I would not recommend getting your hair cut anywhere else!!

I had an appointment on 12/10/22, and went into the salon yesterday and spoke with the owner and Lynn. Unfortunately when I went into the hospital today I tested positive for Covid-19. I called to inform the salon, and posted a small advisory on their Facebook page in order to protect individuals health and safety, especially during the holiday season. Within minutes they had deleted my post. Please be very careful going to this salon, as they do not care about your health and safety or that of your family.

I got my hair cut my Mandie after my bangs had been jacked up by another salon and grown out. Mandie was super nice, helpful, and patient as she tweaked my cut and bangs until it was perfect. I would highly recommend getting a haircut by her!

All the staff at Southern Roots were welcoming and professional. Rosemary did an amazing job on my hair cut. I have naturally curly hair with long layers. After an illness my hair got thinner and is taking a bit to come back. She was able to keep my long layers, get rid of the awful ends, and in turn I feel much happier with my hair. I will continue to use this salon and Rosemary (thank you).

From the personable staff to the chic rustic feel of the salon, it was exactly what I needed! Not to mention, the fantastic job Mandie did on my hair! If safety is a concern, the distance, mask requirements, and sanitation was top notch! I will definitely be back, and recommend everyone stops in as well! She offered to replace my mask if the dye had done any damage (I was wearing the standard blue ones so I didn’t mind the dye) but it made me feel incredibly safe to know that precautions were taken & compassion was also taken into consideration.
