Southern Roots was founded in October 2017 to provide affordable hair care services for the entire family in a down home comfortable Southern atmosphere. We specialize in men’s, women’s, & children’s cuts & styles. Other specialties include colors, fashion colors, highlights, perms, & facial waxing services all at affordable family friendly prices.

I haven’t trusted a stylist in years! Raven instantly made me feel at ease, like I’d been going there for years. She was excited to do my hair, and made the time go by so quickly. We we’re in town on a girls trip and looked up some local salons so we could get a spur of the moment haircut. The staff was so friendly and impressed is an understatement Levi was AMAZING. I have thick crazy hair and he did an amazing job. It was by far one of the best haircuts I have had in years! He took his time, gave his honest advice (which I needed), and gave me exactly what I asked for. Not to mention the laid back friendly atmosphere. Even though it’s a 4 hour drive I will definitely be going back! Thanks Levi!

Miss Kenzie was there and said she would be more than happy to do my hair. I keep my hair colored and it had grown out for more than 6 months and I wanted something completely different. Well Miss Kenzie came through like a CHAMP!! She went above and beyond to get my hair done they way I wanted it and didn’t even know who I was. She started my hair and had to send someone the beauty supply store to get the color that she needed for my new doo. She did an AMAZING JOB (cut and color) I was so pleased with the end result and will definitely be a regular of hers from now on. I have never had luck with getting my hair done in any way, I have seen multiple hair stylist and never found “the one”. I recently decided to fully lighten my hair but I wasn’t going to settle. I asked 10 plus stylist and each one kept saying no, or they didn’t feel comfortable; until Kenzie reached out. Immediately she had the desire I had been waiting for, She messaged me with “I want to do this” & from the point of that message, I was sold. I arrived for my appointment Kenzie was early, and prepared for me. We laughed the whole time, had some AMMUSING events occur, however didn’t change the positivity of the environment.
