Been seeing Dr Hunt a couple of years now for eczema and psoriasis and have been please with my treatment each time. For those who gave bad reviews more than 2 yrs ago, I’d recommend giving it another try; the staff has been pleasurable in the two years I’ve been a patient.

Heard very good things about the doctors, but that means NOTHING if their staff has no respect for clients. The receptionist are extremely rude and make you feel like you’re bothering them. Poor customer service will destroy any business. I was a patient at Southeast Dermatology for several years. Overall, I was satisfied with the doctor’s bedside manner and overall care. However, the office staff is rude, careless, and obnoxious. I generally need to visit the dermatologist about two-three times per year. Today I called to schedule an appointment and was informed that I had a cancelation and no-show with a doctor that I have never seen. I explained that those no-shows and cancelations were documented in error because I do not know who that doctor is and I did not schedule an appointment with her. The Southeast Dermatology’s rep responded by saying, “You did schedule an appointment with Dr. Hunt because we don’t schedule ‘random’ patients with our doctors.” I explained that I am not a ‘random’ patient but Dr. Hunt is a random doctor that I wouldn’t know from a can of paint and over the course of nearly 10 years I have never scheduled an appointment with her, therefore there must be an error on their end. The Southeast Dermatology rep said that policies are different for all of their doctors, and since Dr. Hunt (whom I have never seen or scheduled an appointment with) placed a hold on my account I would need to add a credit card to their files to secure my appointment. I thanked her for providing me with Dr. Hunt’s policy and once again explained that I’m not her patient. I then explained that those no-shows and cancelations were documented in error because I have never been treated by that doctor and in the nearly 10 years that I have been a patient at their clinic I have never been late or had a no-show. Ultimately, I do not feel comfortable providing my credit card information for their records because I do not know who will have access to it and it is clear that they used my account to schedule an appointment for someone else. Due to this incident, I plan to establish care elsewhere.

So sad that I’m having to write the review. I have been a patient of Dr. Davila since I was 11 years old due to being diagnosed with eczema. I am now almost 24 years old and having to leave his practice due to his front desk staff. They all feel so entitled to just talk to patients however they want or feel like. Every month I would call each woman would speak to me unprofessionally wether I was trying to make an appointment or had a question about my medication, blood results, or sending a message to the nurse. It’s sad to say that this clinic has now developed a low class customer service for loyal and new patients. Despite of lack of customer service, I would most definitely say Dr. Davila is one the best dermatologist in the Houston area. I will forever thank him for his meaningful time and worries about my skin problems. However, the stressful and disrespectful treatment the front staff have given me is no longer worth the time anymore.

Made an appointment for biopsy of mass on leg as recommended by my regular doctor. Staff at office pushed to reschedule without any regard for urgency or concern to patient. My appointment was scheduled 10 days in advance and my biggest guess is that they realized it fell on the Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend and they wanted to close early.
