After living in the area for 3 years and trying multiple haircutting establishments for my two sons who need cuts every 5-7 weeks, I’ve finally found THE ONE. I wish I knew about it sooner. Donna and staff are personable and had my 4 year old cracking up with stories about her dog. He’s still talking about it and we left hours ago. The haircuts are just what I asked for, for my 4 and 6 year olds. The place was easy to find and very clean. I appreciate the temperature checks on arrival. Thank you and we will be back!!

Super clean and friendly place to get a haircut. I’ve been looking for a good place to get a cut this past year after experimenting with different people, and I’ve found my place. The woman that cut my hair had me looking right after I came in with an abomination on my head. She took her time and made sure I got what I wanted. All female barbers and they do a great job. You tell them how long or short you want your hair cut and they do just that, not imposing their own opinion unless asked. You can also wait for the barber you want and not have to take the next available; and you can make an appointment too . Senior rates too! ($16)

We moved to Southbury almost two years ago. I took my young sons here on a whim. Both of my sons had the best haircut ever. My youngest, who is four, asks to go back to see the “haircut mamas” on a daily basis for about two weeks after his cut. Thanks Donna! You and Linda are the best!

I moved into town about two years ago. I wanted to find somewhere local to get my haircut. Originally I went to cost cutters had a very poor experience overall rude staff etc. I then found the southbury barbershop. The owner Donna is very friendly and easy to talk to which for me personally is a big plus. Her whole staff is always friendly anytime I come in and always make me feel welcome, unlike my experience with cost cutters. Great neighborhood barbershop with great prices. You just can’t beat it!
