I’m currently a member at this location for the sole reason of it being the only tanning salon within 10 miles of me. I was a member at South Beach Tanning in South Tampa and it was clean, efficient and ten notches above this one in every way possible. This location is dirty. When I say dirty I mean that I’ve gone at closing one night then two days later and the same dirt, hair and debris are still on the floor from the last time I’d visited. I tan in the same room each time (versa spray) and I can confidently say that the walls have not been wiped down for the entire duration of my membership… which is about 6 months. I won’t even step onto the floor before or after tanning. I step off of my sandals and into the bed, then out onto either a towel or my sandals again because the rug, floors and whole room are disgusting. The girls that work there are incredibly sweet and provide great customer service, but I can’t say the same for the franchisee. I’ve tanned twice during a time when she was working and the bed was out of spray solution- meaning I had to redress and go to the front to notify her- and both times she brushed it off as no big deal and told me she’d give me a “courtesy session.” I have unlimited tanning.. the only courtesy would be to provide me with the service I’m paying for and to fill the bed with solution so I can tan and be on my way . She’s off putting to say the least and obviously doesn’t care about her establishment or she’d make some sort of effort to clean or train someone to do so. I can’t wait for something else to open close by so I can leave this dump. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because the younger girls that work there actually treat the customers well. It’s such a shame because this location could be so successful if it were under better management.

Esthetically this place is tragic. The colors the lights the chairs in the rooms. No issues with staff like others frequently mention. The lotions are ridiculously priced, I’m sure some have been there for years. They have my name wrong in the system it’s always awkward when I come in to tan.
