I came in for my first time just a couple hours ago and i asked for a simple design for my senior prom. When i got home the paint was already chipping and the design was messy and very poorly done. Had a bad experience Aug 23rd. I only asked for simple black nails and they were done very sloppily and when I asked her to get the sides better she told me I was being too picky. On my ring finger she even skinned my finger with the tool. Worst experience so far in Cedar Rapids. Total waste of money since they didn’t offer to fix them. If you go to Sophia’s be sure to ask for Ali she makes sure to take her time and makes sure I leave happy.

We just got back from there. I must say I am extremely disappointed in the pedicures that we received I think maybe they took 20 minutes on us each they didn’t do any like filing or take a brush or anything to our heels or to the sides of our foot or anything it was $30 it was not worth it they charged me $4 for using the credit card so $65 for two of us. I wanted an actual pedicure not someone that would just paint my toenails for me the massage we got lasted about 2 minutes was absolutely weak. We try to support Marion because we live in Marion but never again. There are other places on the other side of cedar Rapids that I will travel to because I get a better service.

I walked in for a mani/pedi which they sat me right away, which I was surprised because their manicure chairs were all full, but it didn’t take long at all for someone to get to me! Pedi was great, my only complaint was that she dug hard into one of my nails, I’m assuming to get an ingrown nail? It’s fine now, was just tender at the time and I was concerned about infection because there was a very small amount of blood, which she stopped shortly after that.

They probably had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was asked what I was wanting done and when I showed her the picture she screamed at me so loud the people across the building could hear her telling me she can’t do anything like this. I then picked just a simple color and was yelled at for wanting a different color. She then was not only sanding my nail but my skin as well. After this awful experience I was over charged. Would not recommend. If I could give a negative star I would.

Every time I have come in to get my nails done the customer service has always been amazing prices are within reason. Nail techs take there time with designs last time I went Chi did my nails and she was amazing. The detail the nail techs put into design is amazing Chi did a design for the first time on my nails and it turned out amazing and I couldn’t be more happy

My nails always look fabulous when I leave. The wait time could improve though and sometimes they offer you a drink and sometimes they don’t. Need more nail techs scheduled during busy times of the week.

Sloppy pedicure, didn’t file my toes the way I wanted. The staff was awkward. Only gave 2 stars because of the wine. Overall experience was not worth paying $90. Will go sometime else next time.

Though they were a fairly friendly staff, it was my first and last time for these services. I paid way, way too much to have my nails polished. I had no special service. Only pedicure, which was nothing better than a foot soak and polish of nails, and a nail polish applied to my fingernails, and I was charged Way too much, but I accepted it, paid for it, and will never be back.

When our techs came to collect, I was charged $26 and she was charged $30 (both credit and purchases). I think the techs charge whatever they feel. The menu board $ amounts mean nothing.
