Ladies please do not waste your time getting your hair done by the women in this shop. I had an appointment today at 9am with a woman (I’m unsure of her name) who was slim and looks young but she was late. While she was in the process of doing my hair she stopped amd took 20 minutes to eat food. At this time I had been at the shop for 5 hours and I was getting over heated to the point I became nauseous. I mentioned to her that I was getting over heated and I needed to step outside and she became upset. After she finally finished my hair I paid her ($220). She boiled some water to dip my hair and I was still feeling nauseous. While she dipped my hair, the steam from the hot water was burning my scalp and made me feel lightheaded. I jumped out of the chair and told her that the steam is burning my scalp and she wouldn’t have to dip my hair a second time. The woman stated “nothing is burning you I have to dip your hair”. Then she began yelling and told me not to come back. I responded and told her that I was nauseous and the steam was not helping. She then continues to yell at to get out. As I’m slowly grabbing my belongings due to me not feeling well she grabbed the boiling water and approaches me and yells get out. Ladies please do not do business at this salon. I wouldn’t want anyone to experience what I went through today. Very unprofessional.

Went as a walk in for some braids and was helped quickly and left in record time. I was very pleased with the service and the style lasted longer way than any other stylist in the past by far. First time I ever took them out a hairstyle because I just wanted to, not because I had to. They actually still looked good, I was shocked to be honest. I usually don’t leave reviews but I really was impressed.

I’ve been coming to this braiding hair place since I got stationed here and it’s a great environment and very respectful women. They have magic hands because whatever head they touch they make people hair grow. I don’t never have to worry about my braids falling out because they know what they are doing when it comes to braiding hair. It’s neat and it last for a long long time.

Worst experience ever. I will not ever go back to this place nor recommend them. Ive had my hair braided plenty of times by other Africans & never experienced negative rude behavior in my life. Very unfriendly atmosphere. The entire time they were talking amongst themselves in Arabic (rude). I clearly told them the day of & prior that I wanted medium braids & they said ok. They gave me small braids while being sarcastic. They said my hair was short but no other person ever complained about the length of my hair while giving me medium size braids. Also, if you could not give me what I asked for then it should have been made clear at the BEGINNING…prior to starting my hair. Hoping I have some edges when I take my hair down.. & I will be going elsewhere (yes, they braided my baby hair that I continuously told them NOT to braid).

For the money I paid I’m really unsatisfied. I only had my hair done a week and braids were falling out. I went back by to get them put back in and the owner basically had an attitude and put big braids back in my hair. For 230 dollars my hair SHOULD NOT look the way it do. A WASTE OF MONEY.. NEVER AGAIN! And I drove 40 miles just to sit in their chair 🙁

Soldiers and anyone that supports please don’t use this shop. I got my kids hair braided for school and then had to go on emergency leave because I lost my grandmother. I sent her a picture and text message because I was in Louisiana upon returning I stopped by the shop. I spent almost 500 in her shop and she wouldn’t redo my daughters hair. She had scalps and peeling skin due to the tightness of her braids.
