First time I’ve been here in a few years, first time I’ve been able to rotate my shoulders without feeling a tinge of pain in a few years as well. They are very good at what they do.

Positive: QualityTwo years ago, Soothing Massage was offering chair massages for weary holiday shoppers, in the middle of the mall at the far opposite end, as part of a Christmas promo. I indulged, and was so impressed, that ever since, I make a point of getting a chair massage whenever I come to Farmington.Because their shop has wide-opened doors, is located in a mall, and the heads and shoulders of their full body massage clients can be seen by anyone who walks by, it does not offer the privacy of a regular salon. There are no private rooms, no comfort or choice of disrobing, no soft music, candles, or aromatherapy. But, they also don’t charge salon prices.They do keep their “shop” (as opposed to salon) dark, quiet, peaceful, and clean. Each massage therapist seems to be well-qualified. They know what they’re doing, they are very good at what they do, and I have never had a bad experience there. I also believe their prices, which are clearly posted on a board near the front, are quite reasonable, for what you’re getting.I appreciate being able to show up as a walk-in with no appointment, and being able to immediately receive a good, quality chair massage.In all the times I have been there, I have only had to wait one time, because an entire family preceded me, taking up every massage therapist working that day. I didn’t mind. My massage was well worth the wait.I will continue to go to Soothing Massage every time I’m in Farmington. A massage of equal quality where I live would easily cost more than twice as much, and they don’t allow for walk-ins.
