Sondra & Kenneth Rhoads Salon and Boutique is a full service hair salon located in downtown Carlisle, PA. We offer a variety of hair color and chemical services, hair cuts, and facial waxing. We specialize in balayage, blonding and lived-in color. All of our stylist do their own scheduling, so the easiest way to schedule with us is to fill out our waitlist form which is linked in the website section. As soon as one of our stylist has an opening for your desired service, we will contact you to schedule!

I have nothing but good things to say about this salon and all the stylists! Not to mention it is the cutest and cleanest atmosphere to relax and get your hair done at. I have had both Maddie and Camille do my hair, both of which did an amazing job, I always leave feeling beautiful and happy! I can’t recommend this salon enough, go book your appointment now!

This place is awesome. I moved to the area a year ago and I had a lot of trouble finding a reputable salon who has a talented team educated on balayage. Not only does this salon have EDUCATED stylists, they are patient, friendly, and helpful. I like changing my hair every now and then, but I don’t always have a vision… Camille is always helpful and uses her professional opinion to create a masterpiece! They are extremely professional, requiring a deposit and card on file before the appointment. This shows me that they are THE REAL DEAL and take their salon and services SERIOUSLY. This is a very normal practice most places, especially near NYC where I moved from. Their prices are also VERY VERY VERY reasonable. The services they provide are time consuming and products are not cheap. They provide a wonderful service at an extremely fair price. I really am so glad I found this salon. Cara is AMAZING!! She becomes your best friend instantly and she will talk to you about anything and everything. I have never had someone so knowledgeable working on my hair. I have super straight, silky, long hair. She works her magic every time. Most recently she brought be back to my natural dark brown hair and added toner to pieces to keep my dimension- we are working towards a balayage. I cannot recommend her enough!! I just moved to the area and spent hours on Instagram looking at stylist in the area. The stylist that work here have amazing photos so I decided to schedule. After filling out their initial forms and sending in photos of my hair I was contacted for an appointment time and was sent more forms to fill out. I questioned the need to put my credit card information on file since I have not met anyone at the salon yet and said I would be happy to after he first visit. I received no response or explanation back. Poor communication is so frustrating since I spent so much time reading reviews, looking at photos etc. Maybe my hair just isn’t the look of what they want in their salon?
