I used something you for my hair/makeup services for the wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, communication was good whenever I had a question. One thing that is offered is that they put the schedule together for you. I didn’t not find this especially helpful, however, as I needed certain people in certain slots due to travel needs. When I was asked to provide any requests with timeline, I did but they were not changed until a second request was made. For me, it would have been helpful to have the time slots needed for each service and just plug them in myself. They really lay everything out for you, which is nice. I had an overall good experience with them, but there were a few stressful moments on the day of the wedding. Melissa did an amazing job on hair for everyone and was so nice to work with! The original makeup artist who was supposed to come got sick and they ended up sending a replacement, but there was no communication regarding this to me other than when Melissa mentioned it as the other stylist was not there. I am very grateful that Myra was sent, but she was unable to come until an hour after our designated start time due to their childcare needs (no fault of her own). Thankfully, we only ran 30 minutes behind schedule due to this. Originally, I had been told we would have airbrush makeup as part of our service. Unfortunately, in the rush of the morning Myra, who was sent to replace our original person, forgot her airbrush equipment. Myra did an amazing job with the materials she had, however, and did a great job with bridal look and the looks of my bridal party. I understand there were extenuating circumstances at hand, so thank you again to Myra for stepping up and coming to our rescue.

I cannot express how awesome these girls are to work with! They did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and makeup for my big day and on for my bridesmaids. We had Gina doing makeup and Melissa doing hair. I actually switched up my hair the day of doing something completely different from my trial. Didn’t even show her a photo and Melissa exceeded my expectations with my hair. They were all great to work with!

A huge thank you to the Something You Onsite team for being apart of my wedding day! I was fortunate enough to work with Hayley who did my hair and makeup. When I first met her for my trial, I told her exactly what look I was going for and she executed it perfectly! For my wedding we got to work with Hayley, Gina, and Heather who were all amazing! The morning of, I was nervous that we were going to be behind schedule since we were running a few minutes late but the girls were completely understanding and even got us back up to speed within an hour! I was surprised how quickly they were able to do my bridal parties hair and makeup! It was like a well oiled machine how smooth things went. When it was my turn to get into the chair, Hayley remembered all the little details from my trial. One big thing I stressed was that I still wanted to look like myself. Once I was done, I couldn’t stop looking at myself. I not only looked beautiful but I felt beautiful and so confident. I couldn’t stop smiling! I couldn’t wait to put on my dress to complete the entire look! Hayley was so much fun to work with and she did such an amazing job! My bridal party all loved their hair and makeup and even through the humidity, photos, ceremony, reception and dancing everyone’s hair and makeup didn’t budge! A huge thank you to Hayley, Gina and Heather for helping us get ready and working your magic! Also a huge thank you to Allison for being my main point of contact through the planning process! My hair turned out beautiful, exactly how I imagined it. Amy communicated every step of the process with me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Something You Beaty was incredible, and I am so glad I hired them for my wedding. Hayley, Gina, and Katherine were incredible to work with and all my bridesmaids loved how they looked. My mom and I did a trial with Hayley a few months before my wedding and had so much fun, and Hayley made our visions really come to life. We both felt fabulous all day. On the morning of the wedding they were on time, efficient, and fun to be with. They were so reassuring and were wholly focused on making sure we were all comfortable with how we looked and ready for the day. I cried a few times throughout they day and you would never know it because my makeup stayed put. Hayley, Gina, and Katherine were true professionals who had us all feeling amazing all day. Working with Something You for my wedding hair/makeup was a wonderful experience! I love how their artists focus on natural beauty – really highlighting the bride’s existing features! I felt so lovely on my wedding day – and my artist was such a calming presence in our bridal suite. I’m so glad that they were able to travel to our hotel! I was also so impressed with the planning process – Christine was always prompt in her replies and made the experience so easy and straightforward. I was also thrilled to be working with a company that also has a Beauty Studio where I have been able to visit their AMAZING esthetician, Leah, for the full year leading up to my wedding to make sure that my skin and lashes were perfect for my wedding day! Hayley did such an amazing job communicating and ensuring I felt and looked my best. She was also amazing support the day of and made everything less stressful. We tried a few styles during my trial to ensure I felt confident about my choice, and she reassured me that I wasn’t being crazy when I was on hairstyle number 3. I wanted my makeup to look natural because I usually don’t wear any, and Hayley did a perfect job creating my perfect look based only on my vague descriptions.
