This is my second experience at Something Tropical. The first time I was less than impressed with the tanning beds themselves, it took me a lot of tans to get any color and I tan easily. I chalked it up to myself that it was the cheap lotion I was using. Well, now my second round of trying this tanning salon again, I bought the expensive $60 lotion from them and I’m on my SIXTH tan with hardly any tan at all. Very disappointed in their beds, they must need to change bulbs or something.

Our family is tanning for an upcoming vacation. I am personally new to tanning, so my experience of other tanning salons is almost non-existent. We’ve done seven of ten sessions at this point. With that, Something Tropical Tanning is clean, cozy, comfortable, and decently priced. They have a good selection of tanning options, tiers and their staff is always polite and welcoming. They’ve given me a good first impression.

This place is not worth $120 a month! Went there for over a month and I didnt get any color! Their bulbs are old as dirt!! I was told the only bulbs that have been changed are some of the facial lights. I am very disappointed and a little angry to be sold something that isn’t working like it should. And being lied to by telling me they’re the cheapest around. I hope whom ever reads this checks around for a different place to tan. I did. And I look so much more tan. Shame on you Something Tropical for treating your customers like that!!!
