I loved this place pre COVID but now they’re disorganized. I requested an in home massage and specified that I wanted the masseur to wear a mask. At the last moment on the day of the massage I got a call that the masseur didn’t want to wear a mask. I requested someone else and the appointment was rescheduled for two weeks later. No one showed up on the day of.

Spa was excellent and I loved the tea and biscuits in the waiting room while we filled out our info. Our masseuse were great for our 90 min couple massage. Then we were given a little bag of goodies as appreciation for our 1st time going there. And to top it off, it’s black owned!

As a mom and care giver Somatic makes me feel whole and it’s the one session a month I look forward to knowing it’s my appointment day. Their therapists and estheticians are skilled, knowledgeable and so helpful. Really is a therapeutic experience that is rejuvenating and restorative.

It was good. I came with a friend for a day of relaxation. My massage was good, but I didn’t really feel like the areas I asked to be worked, were worked. Also it could just be me, as a massage therapist myself, sometimes it’s hard to relax into a massage without nitpicking. My friend had a good time as well. She just mentioned that her technicians talked a bit too much.

had a terrible experience today. I booked a hot stone massage with Angela. I left there in so much pain. No one should be in that much pain after a massage. After getting undressed, I hop into a freezing cold bed. That is unusual for a spa bed. Normally it’s heat. She comes in and before we start, she asks me if I would like the bed to be heated. I said yes, especially since the room is really cold. It’s also relaxing in a warm bed. The bed remained cold the entire time. I tell her a little while after we started. I say the bed hasn’t warmed up yet. She tried to turn it on again. I just think the heater was broken because she really did try. So now I am in a cold room in a cold bed.
