Just wanted to say thank you to Danielle for doing such a fantastic job with my hair! I love it. Wanted to do a single process color as was unhappy with how the color rendered at another salon. Saw the reviews for Soma Salon and decided to try it out. Felt welcomed the moment I stepped in, and Danielle was patient in explaining the swatches and listening to what I wanted: a darker shade but still with a copper tone. The whole experience was seamless; loved especially Danielle walking through some of the steps she was doing so I knew where we were. Will be returning again!

Such a great experience from the moment I walked through the door! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Estefania took her time during the consultation and could see immediately what I wasn’t happy about (lack of layers and wrong color tone for me) I have wavy hair and it can be difficult to cut it correctly. I liked it so much I booked for 2 weeks later for make up and updo for my nephews wedding. Conveniently located off the orange line in assembly Row Somerville. Garage parking is next door and free for first 3 hours

Love going to this salon and recommend it to all my friends! I see Lanie and she has done an excellent job with coloring my hair and hair cuts. She does a great job coloring my roots, without transferring color to the red highlights I’ve gotten previously. Also, the red coloring is simply awesome every time and I’ve received many compliments!

I received a really awful haircut from Estefania a few weeks ago. She did not listen to what I wanted at all (Although we discussed before and I provided photos). When I was obviously unhappy with the haircut she straightened it and then when I went to pay they tried to charge me extra for it (although the front desk girl was kind and offered a discount on it). The salon gave me a full refund when I sent photos and called, but didn’t really make an effort to fix the haircut ( I was on a tight timeline so can’t fully blame them). Overall, it’s been a few weeks, and this haircut upsets me every time I look in the mirror. I really regret going to this salon. I’m completely embarrassed by these horrible layers. Danielle is amazing! She gave me the best haircut ever- truly knows what she’s doing and is SO kind and professional. I had the best experience with her and will definitely be going back! The salon is so beautiful, clean, and very welcoming. Everyone there is kind and their pricing is very honest & transparent. Such an enjoyable experience, I cannot recommend Danielle enough!

Best salon I’ve EVER been to in my 25 years of getting my hair cut across two states! Odali was not about to let me leave until she neutralized the green in my home bleached hair. She did an incredible job. Can’t believe it was just a cut and toner, felt like I spent the day at the spa!

This salon is incredibly nice! I saw Hattie the first time for a balayage. She did a great job but I realized I went lighter than I’d like to. I reached out to her and she gladly saw me again to get something I was more comfortable with. I am thrilled with the result! Hattie is extremely professional, skilled, and great to chat with! They’ve been treating me like family for over five years. I find that the Aveda products make a big difference to how my thick curly hair feels and how manageable it is. I have enjoyed my experiences at Soma, and Fatima has been a great stylist for my hair. She has maintained my low maintenance, roughly shoulder hair cut, and it looks great every time I leave. Haircut
