I went to this salon to go from a slight red to my natural brown with caramel highlights. Although they “claim” otherwise, I was never informed that it would possibly take multiple appointments to color correct the red out. After she had color corrected, she said “there’s still a little red but it will fade out”. She never stated that we would need another appointment to continue to fix it. She then put brown dye (I’m guessing that’s what it was) over it. I asked for my natural hair color which was visible. The top part of my hair turned out basically blonde. The bottom part of my hair is red and a dark brown. It doesn’t even go all the way to my roots. I spent $360 on a terrible hair job. I called and simply asked for a refund and they said the only thing they could do was dye over it one color and anything else to fix it I would have to pay for. Absolutely ridiculous! Unless you’re getting something basic, do NOT go to this salon! I left crying and I’ve been crying for the past two days and can’t even look at myself in the mirror.

I went to Soleil Luna Salon today for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The salon is adorable, the staff are super friendly and fun, and I am thrilled with my hair! I went for a cut on my long hair for some additional movement – it looks fantastic and feels super healthy without taking off much length. Thank you Jessie! Can’t wait to visit you guys again.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been seeing Tracey at Soleil Luna for a few years and I couldn’t be happier with my hair after each visit. I never have to worry about being unhappy with haircuts because she listens and does exactly what I ask for! I’m so glad I found someone I can trust. Everyone at the salon is nice and it’s a joy to be there.

To all my asian girlies out there, if you’re looking for someone who understands asian hair texture and tones and knows exactly how to work with it, you’ve gotta come to Jessie. I’ve been going to her for a year or so (not exactly sure lol) but my sister recommended her to me after I saw how pretty her balayage came out. Jessie never fails to impress me with her artistic talent and passion for making everyone who walks out of the salon feeling beautiful and confident. Also, her approach to coloring/bleaching hair ensures that your hair will come out being healthy. At my first visit, I went from dark asian hair to an ash blonde balayage and I was amazed at how healthy it felt after! I think a hairstylist who is understanding of the client’s goals and values the integrity of the hair is one in a million and you can find that here. Cannot recommend this salon more!

Maya was very nice, and I really think she did a decent job with my cut. However, I went to her because she is supposedly the curl expert at the salon. I left with hard, crunchy hair that felt disgusting to the touch. I went home and had to immediately wash it out. I had to shampoo three times to get all of the product out.

Amazing balayage done by Jessie. I was super concerned about killing my hair by trying to lighten it and Jessie told me how we would lighten it slowly to keep my hair healthy. I love her! If only my school would allow me to have crazy colored hair, I’d let her experiment with my hair. I’ve full trust in her abilities.
