I have been going to Laurel for several years now, and I can’t speak highly enough to the quality of facials she offers and the level of care she shows me each and every time. She is a believer of gently healing the skin and always avoiding harsh chemicals or extractions if they’re not needed, which has left my skin significantly healthier and clear. My favorite part of her facials is the deeply soothing facial massage, I swear each time I feel lighter after she works through everything. Solasta Spa is also impeccably decorated, and offers a much needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Trust me, you need a facial from Laurel in your life, and when you do, savor every minute as you’ll likely become hooked like I am!

I scheduled my first ever Brazilian waxing appointment with Laurel and I could not have been happier with the experience! I had always wanted to try and had just never gotten around to it so when I had a vacation scheduled I figured it was time to try. I was looking around south Minneapolis hoping to support a local business as I’m in the Whittier neighborhood, Solasta was highly recommended so I figured it would be a great place to start. I explained my experience with shaving and Laurel was so detailed at explaining the process, what was happening, why she uses sugar, what I could expect after my first appointment, and what the process would be like moving forward. I was so appreciative that she is licensed and thoroughly educated. Less than an hour after my appointment I was helping a friend move into her new apartment and I couldn’t feel a thing! Very excited to have found a great place on the first try and looking forward to returning.

I had a Nano Facial with Laurel and saw immediate results after just 1 session. My skin is visibly smoother and brighter – I’m in love with this glow. The treatment was very relaxing and the shoulder massage is a nice touch – I also recommend the mask add-on. Highly recommend SOLASTA, it’s a beautiful space with highly skilled estheticians and products that work and smell amazing.

I’ve tried both waxing and sugaring with Frankie. She’s so patient and compassionate and fun to talk to. At times other estheticians have left small hairs behind because some of mine are fine and light and hard to see. But Frankie is very thorough with my picky self. And accepting of all bodies and lifestyles. Beautiful building and lots of easy close parking. Highly recommended!
