Visited Solar nails for the 1st time, I couldn’t be happier with my outcome!! My nails looked horrible when I went in, Ms. Linda was amazing! She was patient and took her time, lucky for me she didn’t have to cut my nails off like I thought! I would definitely recommend Solar nails and I will be returning!! Thank you Ms. Linda and the nice lady with the blue hair!! ( sorry I didn’t get her name!)

I went here and I think they changed hands since my last visit the nail tech did my nails I went to my car three times and back in the salon to have them take bubbles out of my top coat. Upon traveling to NJ 5-6 Days later that’s when the chips started coming off my thumb then the peeling top coat started.I was in Nj tea odor work I called they had me send pictures I stated I would not be back for a while went in today told them I was there to get my nail job done I was owed and was told oh you waited too long 2 months is too long like I’m supposed to take a special flight ✈️ to Georgia to get my nails done I have to tell so I will be telling over time I suggest no one use this salon they are very nasty and take you money for substandard service these pictures were taken on 12-2-21. I got my nails done thanksgiving Monday

First and last visit. Pedicure was good and the guy was very nice. As you can see my nails look horrible. The young guy was rushing,didn’t ask how wanted them and skipped steps so this was the outcome. I told the clerk I didn’t like my nails and she still charged me full price and she knew I hated my nails and the other techs looked at them and knew they looked bad too. Nobody offered to fix them and told me to come back to get them fixed another time..like I didn’t just waste almost two hours for thi. The book said 40 and up so I didn’t trip but when I got to the registerer she said 45 you should of got gel for 50 after I told her this was my first time here so I will get regular in case I didn’t like them. I guess they thought because how I was dressed and I didn’t usually get my nails done so I was treated like someone who didn’t know any better.was going to get my eye brows done but was scared they might of messed that up and then they would of called the cops on me for refusing to pay so I decided to go elsewhere. I understand the customer is not always right but as you can see I shouldnt have been charged full price and i shouldn’t have walked out like this.. never again I wouldn’t recommend.

Linda did my nails lied and over charged me because I told her I had a problem with how she was doing my nails the mode changing polish doesn’t change and and got mad at me because I told her that and showed her. So not only the man that did my nails was RUDE but he also hurt my fingers multiple times with no apology, I showed the man the color I wanted and even repeated the number the color it was and he still did a different color. I always read reviews before I go somewhere and even though WAY more bad reviews then good, I thought why not give them the chance. Read this review and please don’t waste your money here!!!! Also I wouldn’t even give them A star.

I took my two teen daughters for the first time to this place to get a full set of acrylic nails with regular polish, which I thought would be fairly simple and least expensive. My daughters expressed to me that they wanted white nail polish. We, including myself thought that that was pretty simple. This service is advertised as $40 in their pamphlets that they hand out to customers. When I got there there were several people waiting but not a problem, we had the time. I leave my daughters in the nail shop and go to the store beside this establishment where I do a bit of grocery shopping, lasting about 45 minutes and then returning to the nail shop where my daughters are still waiting to be serviced, no problem. I wait with them for an additional hour or more but figured I needed to get the groceries home, so I leave my daughters with my credit card at the shop. Before leaving however, I instructed my daughters to show them in the pamphlet the service being requested so there would be no misunderstanding, no problem. Well, an hour and half later I get a message from my daughter saying that they are ready to be picked up. I go pick them up and call while on the way to find out that they charged my daughters $130 for something called “powder white” nail polish. I’m still unsure as to what this is but I wanted clarity and so I asked the front desk receptionist to explain the charges which he then asked the nail techs and then tells me that my girls chose the “powder white” which they charged me an additional $65 for. Long story short, my daughters explained that they didn’t understand what they were agreeing to and the nail techs were insistent that they had no other options other than that and didn’t explain to them the additional cost. One of the nail techs then got into an argument with me after lying on my daughter saying that she asked for powder white when I know my daughter had never had her nails done and wouldn’t have known the difference between powder white and any other white nail polish. I should have known better than to rely on them not to upcharge my girls in my absence! In conclusion, I see them as opportunists and they take advantage of kids who obviously don’t have an adult there to advocate for them. The nail tech was very nasty, called me names and needs to be fired for her sub standard work anyways. Needless to say, I wont ever go back to this place and will caution others to stay away. I will choose more wisely where I place my hard earned dollars in the future.

After going a few times, and having different technicians with mediocre service, only one technician did a great job ( Jackie). The last 3 times I tried to call and schedule with Jackie, I was told he was not there but I could just walk in. Well, that was not an option for me, he is the only one that I will let do my nails and if he’s not there, I’m not coming.

Terrible experience with one of the ladies that usually sits in the front right of the salon. She has no experience with SNS and rushed through my manicure. She managed to cut two of my cuticles and let them bleed onto the nail while finishing the so called SNS that obviously looks terrible. She laughed it off as if she actually did a good job. Highly disappointed that the staff let her do this and made me pay, although they gave me $10 off for this mess.
