I very rarely submit reviews, but felt the need as they have a massage therapist who is spectacular. Almost a year ago, I was given a Groupon as a gift. I upgraded it to a deep tissue massage and Rachel was my therapist. She was excellent! I joined their membership so I now go fairly regularly. The membership is very flexible as you can pause it for a month or two whenever you want. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend Amy or Solaia for a pedicure. My friend and I both booked a pedicures 17-18 days in advance. I was booked with Amy. My friend was not assigned anyone in particular. Upon arrival we were told they were busy and that Amy would be doing both of our pedicures at the same time. She hopped back and forth between the two of us doing our pedicure in stages. She used the same utensils on both of us putting them briefly in blue disinfectant. My cuticles and toenails were trimmed with the same cuticle cutter. No nail clipper. The sea salt scrub was very abrasive and hurt with her rough scrubbing leaving red marks on my legs which did eventually fade away. No sanitary plastic bag in the basins, just a quick spritz to clean bowl between clients. When we were checking out the 4 pedicure chairs were full with 4 attendants were working on these clients. Clearly they had the help but totally mismanaged our pre-booked appointments. No apology or discount offered for our inconvenience. Quite disappointed. Would never return.

One of the more expensive spas in the area, but not one of the better places to go for a service. I booked a facial for my wife and the esthetician she was matched with wouldn’t do facial extractions and had very limited knowledge of skin care. Sadly my wife said her esthetician couldn’t answer any of the questions she asked about her face/skin.

This was my 1st visit to Solaia. I purchased the service via Groupon. My massage therapist was Lashonda. She was AWESOME! Very pleasant personality. She was attentive during the treatment, yet not overly talkative where I couldn’t relax. I will definitely be returning in hopes of requesting LaShonda again.

My mom purchased the 4 hour tuscan experience that had a deal on groupon as an early birthday and post-exams present for me. I was so excited to be refreshed and relaxed but my experience was entirely the opposite. I got to my appointment early and changed in a timely manner and I waited at least fifteen minutes for my massage tech. I will say that my massage tech was very kind, but she was a bit older so I think that’s why the process took longer and the massage was barely there. I also did not get the entire experience listed in the groupon description:

It’s hard to judge the place when all you think about is how rude the owner is. She was 10 minutes late with opening and walked past us and didn’t say a word. Then she unlocks the door and doesn’t even say come in. We waited awkwardly as she stormed around the salon with attitude. As soon as her staff arrived she had nothing but rude comments to say to them in front of us. Pretty unprofessional. The staff was great and friendly and the massage therapists were lovely, however I won’t be coming back. I’ll go somewhere where I feel welcome and who appreciates their staff.

I was excited because I had a groupon price special and I had been before and received a facial that I liked. However, this was a bad experience. The manicure was probably one of the worst I have ever received, and she filed into my skin and made me bleed in multiple places, see photos attached in my review. The nails looked awful and unprofessional. When I complained, the front desk completely acknowledged the nails were not done well, which made me feel better. However, the mani pedi special I came in for was supposed to cost 69$, and they only charged me for the pedi because of this, 61$. So essentially I received barely a discount for these nails. They offered me another free manicure, to give them credit, but I’m too scared to go back there after what happened. I had to immediately go to a different nail place and spend 35$ to fix them.
