Had a wonderful 90min cupping massage today with Caleb. Great attention to detail, he really focused on the areas I needed worked on and did an amazing job at checking in with me on the pressure throughout the treatment.

Awesome massage experience! Hotel spa’s are usually expensive and doesn’t come close to expectations, but this one exceeded our expectations ! Jenna is amazing and one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Lisa and I both did 90 minute massages on different days, both with Jenna, and were more than pleased and happy! Thanks for taking hotel spa experience to the next 5 levels!

Use a different spa. Staff will not return phone calls. Have tried for days and have left several messages. Would NOT recommend this place. Using a spa is supposed to be a relaxing experience and has been nothing but stressful just trying to make an appointment.

Critical: QualityI asked for more pressure on my therapeutic hot stone massage and instead I was told to relax and take a deep breath. I did not ask for a swedish massage, I asked for more pressure 4 times. Never touched my L4-S1 area, put a stone on it and ignored it. Never touched my shoulders, never stretched out my arms/shoulders.. irritatingly rubbed my scalp in the same circle for a minute, without pressure, just rubbing the hair around. Overall, If you want a Swedish massage, Jenna is your girl, if you want anything more than that, see someone else. and do not expect her to listen to your requests, she just ignored them.I asked for more pressure on my therapeutic hot stone massage and instead I was told to relax and take a deep breath. I travel all over the US, and try to get a 90 minute massage at least once a week. I typically try to avoid hotel spas, as the quality is usually not quite to my liking. I rarely write reviews, but felt the need to do so in this instance. “CJ” at Solace was second to none. She truly gave a quality and insightful massage, understanding the physiology behind my problem areas, and attending to them with great success. Solace Spa, and in particular, CJ, is well worth the visit!

We purchased the Solace Sampler for my boyfriend’s mother as a birthday gift and she absolutely loved it. She filled out a questionnaire beforehand that helped them accommodate to her specific needs for the various services. She especially talked about how much she loved the massage and that the masseuse really took note of what she had written in her questionnaire. I also received a pedicure at the salon and was very pleased with the service I recieved from the staff, everyone was very friendly and accommodating throughout the whole process. They offer a “relaxation room” to anyone who has received services that day which is filled with lounging furniture, light snack and drink, and reading material in a dimly lit room with nice ambiance music. Prices are VERY reasonable for it being a resort spa. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and come again if I am ever back in Big Sky.

Charlie did a great job! Very relaxing, clean and comfy. The relaxation room had tasty snacks. The health club staff and sauna were great too.

My fiancee and I each got a 60 min massage. When we called to book..they only had the 1:30 onward available. Convenient when thats when the higher charges start. We were also told we would get access to the fitness center for that day so that was a nice perk. Overall the place is clean and nice. Too much product and clutter in the front in my opinion. They took us back quickly so that was good. Fiancee really enjoyed her massage. Mine was what i would consider “lazy”. Alot of sitting in one random spot with pressure for 30 or 45 seconds. I get this technique if a knot or tender spot is found. But there was no rhyme or reason to it. It was random amd disorganized. Unprofessional. The biggest surprises were after the massages. Almost $100 in service fees above and beyond the $400 for the two massages. Absolutely outrageous. The most i have ever spent on a massage at similar and MUCH nicer resorts. The last surprise was the “fitness” center. If you can even call it that. Two small rooms right next to the entrance to the heated pool. No separation. The steam and moisture all over the walls, outdated equipment, everything. Black mold all over the ceiling, walls, etc. We quickly got out of there. Place is a disgrace. I would suggest searching for offsite spas and make the drive.

We booked massages after a day of skiing last Thursday. We all really enjoyed them. The staff was helpful and friendly. I enjoyed being able to use the spa club pool/hot tub. Only complaint was there were a bunch of kids in there. Would be nice if it was like 16+ or something similar.

My daughter and I had massages with Nicole and Amber – both were the best we’ve ever had. The reason for the 2 stars is our facials. We are both very sensitive to vitamin C and clearly communicated this to Marina. She insisted that she uses “vitamin C in oil” so it won’t cause any reaction. She said she’d try it on a small area first to see if there’s a reaction, and I responded that it is the next day that I get the bright red rash. Who wants to argue when you’re trying to relax? Anyway, she did NOT put it on a small area, she put it all over my face. My daughter had the same discussion with her. The next day both my daughter and I woke up with bright red rashes, and in addition my daughter had several severe dry areas. NOT OK. Also, both last year and this year the people doing our facials talked the whole time trying to sell us products. Not relaxing.
