My gel nails usually last two weeks. Except when I have them done here. I get my nails done every two weeks because I am horrible at polishing my own. This time, at this place, my nails and cuticles were both polished, which causes chipping from the cuticle downward, early on. This was happening by day two. My cuticles look crusty as a result of poor cleanup as well. It has not been a week, as of now, and here they are. Be careful. Gel nails are not cheap.

I have been coming to see Helen at Solace Nail Spa for years now, and she is absolutely incredible. Helen is so talented, and she is very thorough and detail oriented. I have had many manicures, pedicures and eyebrow waxes in my lifetime, and no one compares to Helen! She is also one of the kindest people I have ever met. She knows exactly what I like, and often finds colors that she thinks I will like, and she is always right! If you’re looking for someone to do your nails, make an appointment with Helen. I’ve been a customer of Solace for a few years now. I usually get a gel pedicure and gel fill. The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. The nail techs are amazing and very welcoming. Clients are often offered drinks (nonalcoholic) before being serviced, which is a plus. The service prices are reasonable. The nail techs are very good and attentive to customers needs. I recommend this salon. You will not be disappointed.

Wow! Helen took well over an hour on a manicure. She took her time and really made sure that my nail bed and cuticles were tip top. She went over and over and over. She also picked out my color and it was amazing. She has a real eye for what looks good and wants to pamper her clients. It is very clear that she loves her job. I will be coming back to Helen for sure!
