Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’m the type to support small businesses, but not when they are inconsiderate and unprofessional. This review is for PrettybyTraci. After my appointment, I tried to book another future appointment and was unable to. I texted her trying to book an appointment b/c her website was not letting me book for some reason, but I did not hear back. I texted her again a few days later, called her, left her a voicemail, and even sent her a video of me trying to book but was unable to. Still no response. I was able to the book under a different email address. Weeks go by, and I receive a text back from her saying that she just seen my message and was unable to book the day of my new appointment, yet her website allowed me to book. If she didn’t have it available, her website shouldn’t have allowed me to book & she also could have told me the day i booked or even the day after that she could not accommodate me, not make me wait weeks for her to cancel. It was extremely inconsiderate to allow me to have the impression that we had an appointment b/c I stressed to her how important the appointment was, and then for her to cancel, was unprofessional. After politely expressing the concern that I had been trying to contact her to avoid not being able to be accommodated, she cancels me as a client. As a professional in business, you should be able to hear feedback from clients so you can learn something different for next time, if you aren’t open to feedback from clients then maybe business isn’t for you. Although she insisted on refunding me, I also inquired about a previous deposit that was supposed to be refunded back to me b/c it abided by her cancellation policy and not only did I get no response. I sent her another text that same night politely asking if she can confirm the refund for the deposits, and I got no response that day or the day after so I had to text her again and chase her down for MY money. PrettybyTraci did not respect me or my time and I really hope her actions can change for the next client. I also hope that this horrible incident of business does not represent how Sola Salon allows stylists to treat their clients.
