I was having a hair crisis from another local salon that had destroyed my hair. Thank goodness for Marissa Ramirez. She saved my hair and corrected the damage from the other salon. I am truly grateful to find Marissa. She is familiar with color and highlights. Marissa is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I highly recommend her. I have received nothing but compliments after leaving her salon.

Daphne did an amazing job on requested services at Dye Dye My Darling Hair By Daphne Marie. She was attentive to any questions and or concerns. I will be returning in the future. Her studio is clean, covid precautions/restrictions are being followed, restrooms are clean, drinking water is provided during services, parking was not a problem, and location is easily accessed from I-40 freeway.

Critical: QualityI met with Daphne at Dye Dye My Darling and had a HORRIBLE experience! 1. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my hair, she told me we could get it to that color (which we didn’t), not until AFTER my hair was already done did she say since my hair was too dark for it to lift to that color. I’m not hairdresser but after doing basic research did I find out you could not in fact lift my DARK hair to a cold tone is one session, so either she has no idea what she was doing or she has absolutely no idea what she’s doing. 2. I was severely overpriced, she only lifted about 3 inches of my hair and dyed it yet somehow my price was five hundred dollars. I am not a confrontational person and since I stated before i’m not a professional hairdresser I didn’t question the price, I did ask many other local salons their input on the price and they told me in fact I was over charged. Now I know many salons have different price ranges for certain things but please tell me which logical hairdresser would charge 500 dollars for only lifting 3 inches and applying dye, now unless she made the dye, bleach powder, toner, and developer herself then I don’t think she should be charging that much. She may have many customers who go to her and have never dealt with this but I was only 16 at the time with no parent because I was going to pay for it myself and it was during the heat of covid when they would only allows the hairdresser and customer in the room. I know that I will not receive a refund for this since this all took place Nov. 2020, I just want future customers who are considering going to her to watch out. Now although despite some peoples belief, I do not wish to bash Daphne, I just don’t wish another person be taken advantage of.I met with Daphne at Dye Dye My Darling and had a HORRIBLE experience! 1. I booked an appointment with Hair Twisted Suite 25 with Lydia for 4:00 pm. I was pulling into the driveway when I got a text from her asking if I could come at 5:00 because she was running late. Like 5 minutes before my appointment. I was a little frustrated that I already drove all the way there before she let me know. But I was nice and just said okay and went back home to wait. When I got back at 5:00 she was still doing someone else’s hair. She was not friendly and didn’t smile when I told her I had an appointment. She told me to go wait in the hallway so I did. No apology for being late or anything. I already felt like I didn’t want her to do my hair but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt so I waited in the hall. I waited another half hour. Finally went in and she was not friendly at all, absolutely no apology for being 1.5 hours late for my appointment and acted like it was normal ( I guess it is for her). She started telling me that I had too much hair and would have to be charged a bunch of extra money just for toner!! (unless I wanted to cut a bunch of my hair off) No, I love my long hair and don’t want to do that. I was absolutely shocked at how rude she was. Then her salon partner Angela glared at me with a nasty look and said (Oh it looks like you used box color on your hair!!). That was simply one of the rudest comments ever. They were both just jealous that I have long, thick gorgeous hair. What I didn’t tell them is that I am a licensed cosmetologist and have NEVER ever had anyone use box color on my hair, period and I know my stuff. Other stylists who have done my hair have been amazing, sweet and friendly so I was shocked that their absolute rude behavior. That is unacceptable for me and that will not earn them a very successful business and not to mention if she is 1.5 hours late to every appointment. No one will want to be stuck having their hair done till 10pm either. I do not recommend Hair Twisted and would never go back. If you do decide to go there just bring some books and extra things to do in preparation of a long wait and if you say anything about them being late, be prepared to be treated very rudely.

Daphne at dye dye my darling is amazing. I’ve had services with her when she was at regis and followed her all the way to her own salon. I trust her with my hair and my daughter natural curls.

Unfortunately a very bad experience with Jenny Kottenstetten (room #24) at Sola Salon. I went to Jenny to get my roots done. She offered to do full head of highlights for $200. I left the salon with the exact same amount of roots I went in with. I reached out to Jenny about the issue a couple days later. However, she was very dismissive and told me to buy a shampoo that would help. I explained that buying a shampoo wouldn’t help the roots. She didn’t perform the service I paid for, and she refused to do anything about it. She told me “best of luck” and dismissed me. Overall, very unprofessional and a waste time. More training, experience, and professionalism is needed from this stylist.
