Taryn in suite 11 of sola, goes by HellFlower Hair co. Stole $400 deposit from me, a single mom, and refuses to give it back. COCO the manager of the building, allowed her to do it and then didn’t respond to my phone calls or texts asking for help. I had to call the Jefferson county police department to assist in the matter. I will be taking them to small claims court to retrieve my money. Fair warning; do not do business here. In any way.

Is there an option for more than 5 stars? Jamie P. has been doing my hair for a few years now and has helped me bring my hair back to life…. literally. After years of health issues, I visited her at an old salon in hopes to just get a different look, but she took me under her wing and gave me so much advice on what I needed to do to keep my hair strong and healthy. My hair has never felt better than it has now! After that day, I haven’t been to a different hair stylist. I followed Jamie P. to her new salon “Sola Salon” in Denver West and seriously was speechless. Suite #1 where Jamie’s chair is, has a “welcome home” feeling. I didn’t feel like I was at a hair appointment the whole time I was there, but had a feeling like I was hanging out at a friends house. Very comfortable, clean, and welcoming.I also love the fact that she is always up front with me if she knows that the photo I am looking at on Pinterest will not come out the way I want it too or if a certain color will look better with the tone of my skin. I love the fact that Jamie uses product that is very earth friendly as well as human friendly too. I can always count on Jamie to make sure that my hair is healthy and in good condition, while still stylish and fun.

Vickie H. has been doing my hair for at least a decade and she is not only friendly, but someone I TRUST with my hair! I have thick curly hair and have had it dyed (medium brown, dark brown, reddish brown), highlighted (multiple shades of blonde), and trimmed and she never disappoints. She is great at understanding the look you are going for and very receptive to pictures/descriptions. She is very knowledgable about product (and doesn’t try to sell you on $$$ crazy shampoos) and honest when I ask how much of a trim she would recommend to get rid of my breakage. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Finding someone you can trust with your hair is impossibly hard, until you book an appointment with Vicki!
