Critical: Quality, ValueIf I could give a zero or negative rating I would! I sent pictures prior to my daughters appointment of the coloring she wanted done, and what we left with not even a mere resemblance of what she wanted. I was shocked that her hair was cut while dry, and how Laura (studio 36) was approaching doing her hair that I continued to rein her in and tell her what we did and did not want. I was horrified at the end result, but didn’t say anything as to not spoil it if my daughter liked it. When we got to the car she burst into tears saying “I’m a hideous”. My daughter also had scratches all down the sides and back of her neck. She told me she felt like she was being tortured through the whole process due to how rough Laura was. Not only did I spend $200 on something that was not even close to worth that, but I have spent more money stripping the color from her hair as well as what I will spend on an appointment in the near future with someone reputable that we have personally used in the past to not only correct this mess, but get my daughter the coloring she wanted not this hack job she wound up with. This was part of her birthday outing and she is just crushed since she was so excited for this, and most of her plans got put on hold in an attempt to fix her hair. Sola Salons has a great interior design. Like walking down a thin city street with glass doors to the right and left. Each stylist has their own spot and allows for a feeling of privacy without feeling stuck in a small room. Its well maintained in and out. We found a stylist there who cuts and styles hair for our family. She does a great job. Laura V. is her name. Parking is close if one comes in on the north side by the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.
