STAY AWAY FROM STUDIO 21. Elixir hair salon. Katie Sullivan. After I had my second son I wanted to try something different with my hair so I found Katie on Google…and she straight up ruined my hair. Frizzy, fried and orange and that’s just a complaint on my hair. You wouldn’t believe half the weird stuff she did and said during the appointment…her chair back breaks when you slightly lean on it. She turned on her water from the washing bowl with the sprayer pointed right at me. Got product all over my clothes and ruined them. Took smoke breaks every 15 minutes and smelled horrible when she came back in. I should have known something was wrong when she showed up 20 minutes late to her appointment and brought her supplies in with her in a garage bag. This girl was off big time. She refused to dry and style my hair afterwards and played it off as “it would cause too much damage”. She claims that her work is “Guaranteed” and if I go home and style it and play with it and I dont like it, I can message her and she will fix it. Surprise, it was horrible and when I messaged her asking her when I could come back in, she never responded.I literally wore a hat for over a month every.single.day. while I waited for my correction appointment with an actual stylist that knows what they are doing. I’ve been going to see my REAL stylist RELIGIOUSLY every 8 weeks SINCE July to get the brass out and fix what Katie at Studio 21 did. If I could post a pic of the progress of my hair from when Katie ruined it until now I would. I never leave google reviews but I was super upset and hurt after she took advantage of me and completely did something totally different than what I asked for, so I feel like I need to warn others.
