Critical: Quality, ValueI was beyond excited to start tanning with this company! They are exceptionally clean & being that they only focus on tanning & not any other type of services, I had very high hopes of getting an amazing tan. Most companies that offer multi services that include tanning aren’t always the best places to get a nice Florida tan. Their bulbs aren’t changed as often as they should be or their bulbs are blown out in the beds. That being said, every year I always tan for 1 month at the beginning of the spring season. I have always tanned well. However, I am very disappointed with this location. I purchased the high pressure bed unlimited package. I have now been going to tan at this location almost 5 days a week for 2 solid months. The bulbs in this bed are beyond overdue to be replaced & there are also several bulbs out in that particular bed. After going to tan this many times, I should have more of a tan that I have now. I also purchase individual sample packets each and every single time that I go because I personally tan better using several different types of tingle, bronzers, etc. I have purchased the big bottles before, but for me, personally, I just tan better using different lotions instead of just sticking to one kind. I am aware that I do spend a lot more money by doing this, but this is what works for me. I have literally drove all over the Jacksonville area just to tan at their other locations so that I could achieve the best possible tan. It is extremely inconvenient. Not to mention that every single location has different operating hours listed on the front of their business doors, than what’s listed online. It’s a courteous and professional manner to talk to your clients and/or at least post something stating that the salon hours would be changing. No one has said anything to me nor has any salon posted anything anywhere in their salon locations that the salon operating hours would be changing. I literally just drove an hour away to tan at the Mandarin location because their high pressure bed is amazing. When I arrived, it was 4:50pm. Again, the time listed on their front business door states they close at 6:00pm. I was making sure that I had my protective eye wear and got out to walk to the door & the woman working there, walked to the door and locked it. I asked if she was going on break (thinking she may be the only one working & needed a restroom break) but she said No & that they were closed. The amount of money that I have paid to be able to tan at this company I could have used at literally any other company that offers a tanning bed and had my hair cut, colored & had a blow out along with receiving a better quality tan than the tan I have received with this company. I want to also point out the false advertising that states you can receive one week free of tanning. I have never received my one free week. When I asked for it, I was told you had to sign up online.
