Ashlee has mad skills! Super happy with how my hair turned out. I came in with quite a head of hair to tackle – I’m talking unfashionably grown out roots, stubborn faded fashion dye and split ends galore. I arrived a complete mess and went home looking like my usual vibrant self again. Ashlee was so patient and made me feel very involved with the whole process, which was such a great experience. I could go on forever about what a wonderful stylist (and person!) Ashlee is, but y’all can go find that out yourselves 😉 Since I had a longer appointment this last visit, I had a chance to chat a little bit with Marisol, the owner, and found out she’s quite personable too! I’ve been here three times now, once for my daughter, and have had a great experience every time. My daughter also loved Ashlee. This is my go to salon from now on. I had gotten used to the high end, stuffy salon experience because I thought it was “normal” to feel uncomfortable and overpay to have great hair. There’s none of that nonsense at Sol Salon. You’re going to leave loving your hair and there’s personality and fun. On top of all that, their prices are reasonable! Sharing a “day after” picture of my hair in the shade.

My husband and I are full time RVers, so I am always challenged to find someone to cut and color my hair. I purchased a Groupon for this salon, and I am so pleased. Lisa did a great job coloring my hair, even though it was very short. I had my hair colored in Reno back in August and it was a terrible color job – very blocky. I had it cut again in Las Vegas in September hoping that a good cut would correct the color job. The cut was very good, but it could not fix the terrible color job. Lisa informed me that my hair was really still too short to highlight with foil but that a cap might work if she had one. Luckily she was able to find a cap and a crochet hook. The color and cut process took about 2 hours, but it was so worth it! When we are back in the L.A. area, I will definitely arrange to have Lisa at Sol Salon do my hair again.
