Poor performance on all levels. The wait times are egregious– as in I finally saw the derm AN HOUR PAST THE TIME THEY CLOSE. I waited literally for two hours. The nurses are terrible at taking blood; I had to make ANOTHER appointment for a blood test so they could try again when both my arms healed up from their attempts. They’ll make you come in for extra appointments if possible so they can bill you again. And on top of all that they sent a letter threatening to call collections on me even though I had made a payment within their time-frame. The worst dermatology practice I’ve ever been to across multiple states.

If youre going for the spa services it’s fine. Anything else plan on waiting at least 45 minutes. We had to leave twice because my daughter couldn’t miss that much school. You have to get the first appointment of the day if you don’t want to wait. A lady accross from us left too. She has a bad back and had been suffering in the waitng room chair for over an hour! They are notorious for overbooking!

I’ve taken my kids in for skin issues twice and both times they used scare tactics and casually threw around the word “cancer” to pressure me into letting them unnecessarily cut into my son and have multiple unnecessary appointments for things that really were minor. We saw someone else in Peoria for a second opinion because soderstrom promised they’d take care of the problem at the same time as the biopsy and intentionally didn’t so that they could turn what could have been 1 appointment into 3-4 and caused a lot of unnecessary stress for a young child and his family just to take in a little extra $.

Decent dermatology group hampered slightly by the fact of heavy self-advertising of services in their waiting area, and that despite being a multi-office, multi-practitioner group the response upon my calling about the online bill-pay portal not working is “oh I don’t think we actually do that” despite having it prominently linked from the webpage.
