My 2 and a 1/2 year old has known nothing but the pandemic and I have put off getting his haircut up until now. He has always been my wild child with long blonde curly hair, but everything must come to an end. I’ve heard great things about this place, so we went yesterday and had Melissa. She did an excellent job with him, of course no kid likes to get their haircut when they’ve never experienced anything like it before, but she got through it very quickly and did a fabulous job. We’ve gotten nothing but compliments on how grown up and handsome he looks with his short hair, and the 1st haircut card with a lock of hair and picture will be a treasured keepsake. When he’s due for another cut and his little brother gets old enough for his 1st haircut we definitely will be returning.

I wasn’t going to share my experience until I saw others had the same. I showed up for my sons appointment today. He’s almost 4 and not his first time getting his haircut. Unfortunately, the person who used to cut his hair died and we had to find somewhere new. I went here because I knew he was going to be upset going somewhere new and they advertise how they take their time. Our experience was awful. We had a 1pm appointment. I’m not sure who cut my son’s hair. She was a blonde lady. Rushed through the whole thing. Its completely uneven on the sides. It looks like the back she made almost like a lightning bolt. She cut it way too short even after me repeating it doesn’t need to be that short and explaining what we had done in the past. She just kept cutting. She did not help him calm down at all. Didn’t bother to even try. Didn’t turn on the TV nothing. The lady across from us cutting another young boys hair paid more attention to us than the one cutting my son’s hair. It was an awful experience and I highly recommend avoiding this place! My son’s hair now is way too short and I could have done a better job myself, in fact I have.

This is not worth the money for 2 boys that took them 5 mins each for butchered haircuts. We came back today (after few years for a second chance)– for back to school haircuts because I thought they’d be better at detailing than me (with no experience self taught)-I was wrong. We didn’t ask for buzz cuts, but thats what they basically got–uneven haircuts up the back of the head, uneven front, and odd cut side burns?? They’re not squirmy at all when getting cut and sit perfectly still quietly while doing what they’re told. I also don’t like leaving reviews-but this was bad for 2 boys for 1st days of school haircuts.

Haircuts for my son can be pretty hard even worse then eating vegetables but I’ve met nothing but patient people here who try and help him through his fear.
